Goro Majima is the protagonist of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. He loses his memories and finds himself shipwrecked on the island of Hawaii. After that, Majima decides to become a legendary pirate captain and starts his own pirate crew.

You will be playing as a pirate in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, and for that, you will need a ship and a crew. In the game, you will find many potential recruits you can add to Majima’s crew. All of them will have different traits and abilities and will be suited for different roles in Gojo’s ship, Goromaru. Additionally, you can also upgrade the ship as you progress through the game.

While you travel and explore Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii’s open seas, you will come across many hostile pirate ships that would like to loot and plunder your ship. Once you spot one of these ships or they spot you, you will get to engage in a real-time naval battle with cannons, machine guns, and many other unique weapons that are available in the game.

Once you have dealt enough damage to the enemy ship, you will then get an option to board it and fight the enemy pirates in a crew vs crew battle.

The combat in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is similar to its predecessors. It is the classic beat ’em up combat system with flashy moves and abilities. Additionally, there are two separate fighting stances named, The Sea Dog and The Mad Dog stance. And in true Yakuza fashion, you can switch between these two stances whenever you want.
