Wish to imprison humans and feed on them for eternity? Look no further, as we will be discussing how you can build a prison in V Rising.

One of the core consumables in V Rising is blood, and sourcing this can be one hell of a task. Especially considering that you have to be vigilant and go hunting at night. One of the best ways to ensure a consistent supply of strong blood is by building prisons and holding prisoners. Let us take a look at how we can build prisons in V Rising.
How To Build a Prison Cell in V Rising

Building a prison, while easy to do, requires game progression to unlock. A key ingredient that you need for building the prison is acquirable after you kill certain bosses. Let us look at the steps to build the prison.
- In the Dunley Farmlands, a level 44 V Blood Boss by the name Vincent the Frostbringer awaits. His patrol route encompasses the area around the militia encampment in the northeast of the haunted iron mine.
- Once you are above a suitable level of 40, encounter and defeat the boss to acquire the ‘Prison Cell Recipe’ and V Blood.
- Now, gather 8 iron ingots and 2 reinforced planks to craft one prison cell.
While building a prison cell serves an immediate purpose, it is advisable to build a prison room. This will help create a good prison system and safeguard your prisoners from raiders. This will ensure the safety of your prisoners and save you the trouble of gathering the prisoners again. You will also be able to manage all your prisoners together and monitor their health.
How To Use the Prison Cell

For the prison to work, you will obviously need some prisoners. One of the best ways to do this is by charming human foes into following you back to the castle. An ability that will perfectly assist you with this task is ‘Dominate Human.’ This ability works best when your foe’s HP is low. So do the needful and get their health to somewhere below 30% without accidentally killing them.
First, find your target humans. Make sure to look for humans with a very high blood quality and that they have a blood style that perfectly suits your build. There are multiple blood types to choose from, so choose wisely. Once you have your intended human in your grasp, you can take them back to your prison cell.
Send Humans Directly to the Prison Cell

While you can lure your enemies all the way back to your cell, what if duty calls? You see another human whom you wish to apprehend but can’t risk losing your already captured human. In this case you can use a consumable ability, ‘Dusk Caller.’
With the Dusk Caller ability, a group of bats will come to your aid and carry the foe human all the way back to your castle. This saves you ample time on your journey back to the castle. The human will be directly placed inside an empty prison cell.
Crafting a Dusk Caller is easy and requires just two types of ingredients. You will need 4 Scourgestones and 60 Hell’s Clarions. You can acquire the recipe for this ability by defeating Leandra the Shadow Priestess.
