IShowSpeed was mobbed and “attacked” by Ecuadorians during his recent visit, a video of the supposed attack went viral on X.
YouTube streamer and megastar Darren “IShowSpeed” is currently on a South American tour for his IRL livestreams. The tour started with Speed visiting Colombia, where he was greeted by fans. Darren was in Ecuador for his latest livestream, where, towards the end of the stream, he was surrounded by fans and attacked by some.
The stream started off with him roaming the streets of Ecuador, later meeting up with Ecuadorian TikToker Chupalo. At the end of the stream, Speed was seen gasping for air after getting in his car.

Users also pointed how the incident was similar to the one in Norway. For context, during his Europe tour stream, IShowSpeed was attacked by a large mob in Norway. Speed said that he will not be coming back to Norway again. While ending the stream in Ecuador, Darren mentioned that he felt like throwing up. Before leaving the hotel, Speed showed the crowd on stream who were chanting his name and cheering.
Speed is currently on his South American tour which started on January 12, 2025. Colombia was the first country for IShowSpeed’s tour followed by Guatemala and Ecuador. Darren announced his tour after ending his Red Dead Redemption 2 marathon. He was also indulged in an OG Fortnite marathon alongside Twitch megastar Kai Cenat.

IShowSpeed’s Moments From Ecuador Stream
During his Ecuadorian tour stream, IShowSpeed had several viral moments. The stream has gained over 3 million views as of this writing. The stream also had some of the most enjoyable moments for the fans as numerous clips went viral on X. In a particular clip, Darren tried the Ecuadorian outlet of fast food brand, KFC. The streamer enjoyed his fried chicken so much that he went back to thank the employee who made it.

In another clip, Speed was seen dancing with the traditional Diablo Huma and got scared after thinking the Huma came to whip him.

IShowSpeed’s popularity around the world is unquestioned as he always gets surrounded by fans in every country he visits. Some fans showcase their love for the streamer by gifting him artwork and souvenirs.
An Ecuadorian fan gifted a fanart of him made out of Cristiano Ronaldo’s face. The fan stated that it took hours to make the artwork. Speed was surprised and commented on the artwork and stated that it was sweet
