Here we will be discussing the various weapon systems in Vindictus: Defying Fate including their crafting and enhancement.

Weapons play a significant role in any action RPG game. As part of Vindicates: Defying Fate, each class has its specialty in preference of weapons and playstyle. Upgrading your weapons to their max potential is a long journey and important for progression in the game. In this article, we will discuss the weapon system in Vindictus: Defying Fate including the crafting and enhancements aspects of it.
Weapon System and Enhancements in Vindictus: Defying Fate
Weapons are subject to use by their classes. This means that different classes won’t be able to use weapons that are primary to another class. The only way to have access to these weapons is by selecting that class entirely. These are the four classes that are part of the alpha stage and their primary weapons.
Class | Primary Weapon | Traits |
Lann | Twin Swords | Timed Strikes Fast Attack Speed |
Fiona | Longsword and Shield | Great Blocking and Parrying Skills Moderate Attack Speed |
Delia | Bastard Sword | Strong Attack Damage Slow Attack Speed |
Karok | Battle Pillar | Heavy Attack Damage Moderate Attack Speed |
With the help of the weapon crafting and strengthening system, you can upgrade the weapons to meet their untold potential. Not only can you upgrade the stats, but you can also craft new skins and appearances to match the look of your characters or something entirely different.
Upgrading the weapon will boost the level along with the skills, aiding you in your future battles. However, to do so, you must a series of steps.
Unlocking Crafting for Weapons

The first step includes unlocking the ability to further upgrade your weapons. This can be done by obtaining blueprints. While the quest of obtaining said blueprints may seem tasking, it is also rewarding, giving you a sense of accomplishment. Blueprints for weapon crafting can be found once you defeat certain bosses or by completing special requests.
Subsequently, the biggest advantage players have in this game is the account-based sync. Players won’t need to obtain blueprints with each character. Once they find a blueprint with any of the classes they play with, they unlock every class. This saves you time and removes the repetitive nature of this task.
Weapon Crafting

Now, once you obtain the blueprint, you can begin crafting weapons. To craft the weapons, you must go to the appearance tab in the fitting room. Depending upon the blueprint you receive, the crafting option will only be available for a certain class. Due to the exclusive nature of these weapons, you will need to select a certain class and craft the weapon accordingly.
Another important step to keep in mind is acquiring the materials essential for completing the process of crafting. After you successfully collect all the materials and currency metrics essential for the weapon, you can finally craft it. Depending upon the weapon, you may also be subject to receiving an additional sub-weapon upon crafting.
Weapon Enhancement

Now comes the main component, and that is enhancing your weapon. This will help level up your weapon, increasing your chances of winning boss fights as you progress in the game. Enhancing a weapon will also increase the character’s primary weapon’s level simultaneously. This will also have an impact on the character’s attack power and critical hit rate, along with some other stats.
Weapon enhancement comes with a cost in the form of materials and Hanner. There is a cap on how many levels you can upgrade a certain weapon. This helps maintain a balance between the weapons, keeping each unique with their skills and stats.
