In particular, you can put various emblems on your profile that you can flaunt to others. These cosmetic items are visible to anyone who opens your profile to take a look.
However, earning these in Pokemon TCG Pocket is not that easy, and you need to grind for them. In this article, we will explain what emblems are in Pokemon TCG Pocket and how you can equip them on your profile.
All About Emblems in Pokemon TCG Pocket
Emblems are like medals or badges that you can flaunt on your profile in Pokemon TCG Pocket. These emblems usually indicate a certain status, and you can equip up to three emblems on your profile at the same time.
You can equip and remove emblems anytime, and there are no cooldown periods between equipping or removing them.
How To Get Emblems in Pokemon TCG Pocket
As of now, there are two ways to get emblems in Pokemon TCG Pocket:
- Redeem by exchanging Emblem Tokens.
- Get from special in-game events.
Here is a detailed explanation of these:
Redeem by Exchanging Emblem Tokens
Each expansion pack has its own Emblem Tokens, and you can get these by completing the Solo Battles in Pokemon TCG Pocket. Currently, these are the expansion-specific emblems that you can get:
Genetic Apex Expansion Emblems:
- Mewtwo Emblem
- Charizard Emblem
- Pikachu Emblem
Mythical Island Expansion Emblems:
- Mew Emblem
All the emblems can be exchanged for 100 Emblem Tokens of their respective expansion only. As of writing this article, you can collect a maximum of 300 Emblem Tokens for the Genetic Apex Expansion (100 tokens for each emblem), and the maximum Emblem Token count for Mythical Island is 100.
Get From Special In-Game Events
You can also get emblems during in-game events. The rewards for these events are the emblems, and they come in various levels, from participation to gold. Each level has its own emblem, which means you can get four emblems per event (participation, bronze, silver, gold) if you complete all of them.
As of writing, there have been two such events in Pokemon TCG Pocket that have rewarded emblems:
- Genetic Apex Emblem Event 1 – PvP battle event
- Genetic Apex SP Emblem Event 1 – PvP battle event where you needed consecutive wins
How To Buy Emblems in Pokemon TCG Pocket
Here are the steps to buy emblems in Pokemon TCG Pocket:
- Open Pokemon TCG Pocket and tap on the three dashes at the bottom right of your screen.
- Tap the Shop option.
- Open the Emblems section.
- Purchase your desired emblem(s).
You can immediately equip emblems on your profile after you acquire them.
How To Display Emblems on Your TCG Pocket Profile
Here are the steps to display emblems on your Pokemon TCG Pocket profile:
- Launch the game and tap on your player icon at the central part of your screen.
- Tap on the area with three plus(+) signs.
- All your available emblems will be visible here. Select whichever emblem you want to display on your profile.
You can display up to three emblems on your profile at the same time. If you want to change the emblems that you currently have, simply follow the above steps to deselect them and select the new ones instead.
