Monster Hunter Wilds announced its first Title Update featuring the monster Mizutsune. Additionally, Capcom also unveiled a plethora of new content for the game as well as the potential release dates for both Title Update 1 and Title Update 2. This creature was also mentioned in the leaks from dataminers.

New Monster Mizutsune

Mizutsune first appeared in Monster Hunter Generations and has since returned in multiple installments of the series. This creature is widely known for its elegant pink and purple hues. Additionally, its unique combat mechanics have earned it the titles ‘Fox Wyvern’ and ‘Bewitching Dancer. This male Leviathan uses water-based attacks and is known to inflict Bubbleblight, a debuff that can make you slip and slide around the map.

Open Beta Test 2

The second part of the OBT 2 for Monster Hunter Wilds is now ongoing and will last until February 16, 2025. The testing phase is free to access so players can use this opportunity to try out the game before deciding on a purchase.

Don’t forget to try out the Benchmarking Tool to test if your PC meets the requirements to run the game. It’s also accessible via Steam for free so there is nothing to lose.

New Event Quests

The upcoming Title Update 1 will feature Event Quests that players can download and complete for unique rewards. These rewards are likely layered armor and other collectible cosmetics.
