In Aihasto’s MiSide, players step into a simulation—a game within a game. They take the role of a simple guy caring for Mita, a cute and charming in-game character, in a game called MiSide. Over the course of 36 days, the protagonist aids and cares for the virtual girl Mita by doing various tasks such as doing chores, cooking meals, and giving gifts.
Being obsessed with the protagonist, Mita wishes to see the protagonist face-to-face and invites him to her home on the 37th day. However, the encounter takes a dark and sinister turn when a mysterious force transports the protagonist into the game, and he ends up sharing a living space with Mita. The game further explores the story of the protagonist character’s horror adventure filled with puzzle-solving, mini-games, and decision-making.
Various Versions of Mita
Mita, the key character of MiSide, serves multiple roles, ranging from supporting characters to antagonists. As the story progresses, you will encounter various versions of Mita, each with a unique personality and backstory.
Each version of Mita has a purpose in the game, which ranges from aiding the protagonist towards his goal to becoming a hindrance by confusing his mind. Some versions, such as the ‘Crazy Mita,’ even try to scare and harm the protagonist. The decisions and choices of the players shape the story, which leads to multiple possible endings.
