If you have played the map of the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda, you must not be new to the concept of Mujaji’s Wrath. But what exactly is this phenomenon? Why does it occur? And what triggers it? We will try to answer these simple questions today after running a few tests on King T’Challa’s space kingdom.

All About Mujaji’s Wrath in Marvel Rivals

When Does It Occur?

Almost all maps in Marvel Rivals have a passive change going on that lets them reshape and reshift into something different. The Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda has two modes: Convergence and Domination. This means that there are a total of four sections on this map, one for Convergence and three for Domination. While no “Wrath” on this map is exclusive to one section, you will typically find Mujaji’s Wrath occurring on the Stellar Spaceport and the Imperial Institute of Science in Domination mode. As for the Hall of Djalia, it is almost always bound to happen.

We haven’t been able to pinpoint exactly what triggers this phenomenon. However, on the Hall of Djalia map, you will find that once the payload is reaching close to the final checkpoint, the screen will read Mujaji’s Wrath and quickly trigger the phenomenon for a while. It could stick around for the rest of the match depending on how quickly the payload reaches the end. As for Domination maps, Mujaji’s Wrath is more based on one team dominating the point and reaching the end faster than the enemies.

What Does Mujaji’s Wrath Do in Marvel Rivals?

Mujaji is part of the Orisha, the pantheon of Wakanda. She is the Goddess of Sustenance. In tough times, her followers would call upon her to feed them when food was scarce. Much like many other gods in the Orisha, she is benevolent. So, her “Wrath” isn’t aggressive either. Whenever Mujaji’s Wrath is triggered, the players will see it written across their screens.

Now, certain places on the map will get obscured by a thick, white fog. The fog is not everywhere, but it blocks key doorways and corridors. So, players cannot see through the fog once the smokescreen is triggered. This makes for the perfect ambush opportunity. Kindly note that players can still shoot through the fog and kill enemies by predicting their movement patterns. Moreover, nobody “gains” from Mujaji’s Wrath. The view is obscured for both teams, and anyone can use it to their advantage.
