Solasta: Crown of the Magister was released in 2021, and Solasta 2 has already been announced. Fans of the series must be happy with the official reveal at The Game Awards 2024. The only sad news is that the game still appears to be under development and won’t be released for quite some time.

The good part is that there will be an Early Access. We don’t have a date for it, but it is scheduled for the year 2025. Before the game is released in Early Access, we can expect that it will have a demo, as promised during the event.

The trailer ended with the Early Access announcement, alongside a confirmation that we will be getting a free demo soon. The date for the demo hasn’t yet been revealed, but it is sure to push back the Early Access release.

We don’t have much information about the upcoming game, but there is enough to keep everybody hyped until we get some new content to enjoy!

What To Expect From Solasta 2

There are some notable changes to the upcoming game from Tactical Adventures. To begin with, the game’s scenery looks a bit more cinematic, suggesting improved graphics.

Moreover, it seems like they are tweaking the gameplay a bit. This is evident with the character and party movement shown in the reveal trailer. In the original game, the movement was based on grids on the ground, but this time, it appears more free. Apart from this, they could be sticking to the original turn-based combat to please the existing fanbase.

The story also appears grim and serious, according to what the trailer shows. It may pick up where the first game left off, but there is a high chance that your protagonist from the first game won’t matter as much in the upcoming game.

All of these questions will receive their answers starting with the free demo, gradually clearing things up with the release of the Early Access, and eventually the full release.
