This studio has had its magical hands wrapped behind the critically acclaimed project, Sifu has definitely proven its worth in terms of deliverance. Let us take a quick look at what the Rematch Closed Beta exactly is and the dates across which it will be available.

What Is Rematch Beta?

Sloclap steps into the pitch in a new pair of shoes as it explores the dynamic genre of sports through Rematch. The numbers don’t lie—at the moment, a staggering number of players are online and kicking off through the beta phase. The numbers have peaked at over 120,000 all-time players and more than 40,000 online at the moment.

Some of the limitations within the beta have been mentioned on their website. This is understandable, as the game has close to two months before they officially released, and are using this beta to further understand its player base and what exactly is expected of them.

How To Receive Rematch Beta Access

Rematch will hit the stores on the 19th of June, 2025. While that day may seem a bit further away at the moment, the team at Sloclap has decided to give us a small glimpse of the magic they are busy brewing. During the beta phase, you will have the opportunity to try out the game way before its intended release date and help support the developers with your valuable input.

The beta periods are restricted to invite-only and will be distributed to those who have either signed up for their newsletters or have requested playtest access on the Steam launcher. You can do this by logging on to your Steam account and going to the store page of Rematch.

Below the imagery and above the date announcement, you will see a green button that states ‘Request Access‘. Click on this, after which you will have to keep a lookout for Steam notifications via email. It should usually take less than 30 minutes or so.
