Sloclap has announced the date of the next Rematch Beta test, and its happening this month. So, lace your boots and polish your controllers.
The first Rematch beta created a lot of buzz within the community owing to its fresh style of playing classic football through a digital medium. Fans will be glad to know that Rematch is hosting another Closed Beta before its release on June 19, 2025.
If you missed the first Beta test to try out the game, you will have one more opportunity. So, try not to miss out this time. The next Beta test for Rematch is going to start on May 28, 2025.

When is the Next Rematch Beta Test Going To Be Held

Sloclap has officially announced the schedule for its next beta period. This Closed Beta will be held from May 28, 2025, to May 30, 2025. It will be available on all consoles, so no one needs to worry.
If you apply for the Closed Beta right now, the chances that you will gain access to it are quite low. However, you should still apply for it. You can apply for the beta through the official Rematch website or request access through the Steam page.
Console Tech Test Before Rematch Closed Beta
In the aforementioned tweet, Sloclap also announced a limited tech test. This was only for Xbox, PlayStation, and Xbox PC versions of the game. The tech test was just to ensure that the game doesn’t break during its eventual Closed Beta later this month. The tech test was on May 9, 2025, from 4 PM UTC to 8 PM UTC.
Lastly, the developers have also mentioned that cross-play is one of their top priorities moving forward with the game. However, it will not be available yet, in the Closed Beta.
