In Palworld, the survival crafting game by Pocketpair Inc., players can explore an expansive open world, collect various resources, and build their base. Taking place on the mysterious island of Palpagos, players can capture and control creatures called ‘Pals.’ Defeating the wild Pals sporadically yields what you need to expand your base.
Bones are one of the essential resources in Palpagos, primarily used for construction and creating medicines for your Pals. They can be obtained in several ways in the base-building game. Follow along to find out where to find bones and how to use them in Palworld.

How To Get Bones in Palworld
There are several ways to acquire bones in Palworld, such as defeating specific Pals or purchasing them from Merchant NPCs. You can also get bones as a Ranch drop from Sootseer Pals.
Obtained As Drops From Pals
The island is populated with a variety of Pals, each with unique special abilities and elemental powers. However, only some of them will have bones as a guaranteed drop. To save you time, we have brought you the list of all the Pals that give you bones upon defeat or capture.

You can locate these Pals via the Paldeck section. Choose any of the above-mentioned Pals and switch between the day/night modes. Then, track their roaming areas to hunt or capture them. Upon being defeated or captured, the bones are automatically added to your inventory.

Buying From Wandering Merchants
If you don’t want to harm these cute Pals, you can also choose the easy way of buying bones from the Wandering Merchant NPCs. These Wandering Merchants usually move from one place to another, as their name suggests, trading various resources including milk, eggs, and berries. They also sell bones for 100 Gold (per unit). These Wandering Merchants can also be found permanently at the following settlements:
- Small Settlement (74, -486)
- Fisherman’s Point (-480, -745)
- Duneshelter (356, 647)
What Are Bones Used for in Palworld
Bones serve various purposes in Palworld, especially for treating the physical ailments of your Pals. Bones are used to craft various medical items:
- Strange Juice
- Suspicious Juice
- Medical Supplies
- High-Grade Medical Supplies
- Mind Control Meds
- Memory Wiping Medicine
They are also used to craft other items like Cement and Mega Glider.
