Austrian YouTube vlogger and gamer Lucas Mosing, or Lucas Blaze, was formerly known online as FaZe Blaze or Blaziken. He was one of the directors of FaZe Clan and was among the most popular FaZe YouTubers. Before moving out, the YouTuber shared the FaZe House with Apex, Rain, Temperrr, Adapt, and Teeqo.

On January 9, 2013, he registered his primary YouTube channel under the moniker Blazifyy. That same day, Lucas Blaze posted his debut video, titled TheUWPolar AoN Montage – Edited by Me. The video had over 51,905 views. It included a montage of Lucas’s friend’s knife and gun kills while playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Because Blaziken is a Pokemon character protected by copyright, he renamed his YouTube account to “Blaze” in May 2017.

Lucas amassed a sizable fan base within the Call of Duty community over the next two years, thanks to numerous minitages, knife kill montages, and excellent gameplay in various CoD games. On January 3, 2015, he received an invitation to become a member of FaZe Clan. On January 5, 2015, the YouTuber shared the news with his audience through a video titled Joined FaZe! (My Reaction).

Why Did Lucas Blaze Get Kicked Out of FaZe Clan?

As part of the extensive layoffs that took place in April 2024, Lucas Blaze was kicked out of FaZe Clan. Shortly after Richard “Banks” was named CEO of FaZe Clan and GameSquare Holdings Inc. purchased the company, these layoffs were implemented.

Numerous other seasoned members were also eliminated in addition to Lucas. At that time, Blaze, Booya, Cizzorz, Flea, H1ghSky1, Sway, and Testy were among those who were kicked out. During a conversation with Adin Ross, FaZe Banks referred to Blaze as a “brother.” However, he stated that Lucas Blaze’s material was the “furthest thing” from his ideal representation of FaZe. He added that they both had grown apart and said:

“Blazekin is my f**king brother. I call him Blazekin because that is his OG name, then he started rapping, switch it up to Blaze. Weird s**t. That’s my brother, that’s my blood. At the end of the day, Lucas’ content is like the furthest from how we want FaZe represented, I’m just going to be honest.”

However, in his previous video on the FaZe Blaze YouTube channel, Lucas Blaze described how FaZe members Temperrr and Apex informed him of his departure from FaZe Clan. He had known for about two months prior that he might be leaving:

“I actually found out that I was going to leave FaZe, or get kicked from FaZe, I guess, two months ago. And when I first found out I was really really sad.”

Moreover, in the video, Blaze thanked FaZe Clan and wished them luck in the future. The YouTuber said:

“Thank you letting me be a part of your life. And I genuinely wish you, all of the guys, the original ownership of FaZe, happiness and satisfaction with this brand. I hope you guys make it everything that you guys want it to be now.”
