xQc’s Gamertag Over The Years
Recently xQc has been topping the charts in the streaming industry. He has one of the top 10 most-followed channels on Twitch, with a total of 12 million followers. Later, in 2016 when xQc shifted to Blizzard’s multiplayer shooter game Overwatch, he changed his name to xQcOW. This username went a long way on Twitch and remianed unchanged for almost 6 years.
In May, 2022, he announced during a livestream that he would change his name to just “xQc”. He told his “juicer army” that he had communicated with a Twitch representative and had already requested to change his moniker. Most of his fans called it the “end of an era”, although xQc did not stop playing Overwatch.
He said “After I asked, he said that he just submitted the change to have my username shortened to just “xQc”. So then, I guess if it goes through, it might just change mid-stream, at the end. It might just change.”
