WWE 2K25 has updated the MyGM game mode with online play and new GMs for you to choose from. With the roster boasting 18 options, there are deliberations to be made about who will serve as the best GM for your next game.
The selection of your favorite GM essentially comes down to the power card they have. Depending on who you pick, these can give your events a dramatic boost or bring down your competitors with devastating disadvantages. While choosing a GM can be a tide-turner, WWE is all about personality, and it is a lot of fun to pick your favorite manager and use their power card at opportune moments.
Xavier Woods – Cheat Code
If you happen to be matched against friends or online players, Xavier Woods can do serious damage. His ability, Cheat Code, lets you select a superstar from a competitor’s roster, and they will permanently join your roster next week. This does not work on title holders or during the first or last week of the season.
Maybe your opponent has been building up a rivalry for most of the season, or maxing out the popularity of their favorite wrestler. Woods can remove a key figure and bring their entire plan crumbling down. This works especially well to demoralize human opponents as they lose a mental narrative and possibly their favorite wrestler.
WWE came the closest to losing the wrestling top spot to WCW when Ted Turner and Eric Bischoff employed a strategy to buy out their best wrestlers. Adding a historically tried and tested technique to your arsenal that does serious psychological damage, Xavier Woods can be a menace for your competitors in the game.
Miss Elizabeth – Mega Power
While Xavier Woods lets you steal another’s superstar with a few caveats, Miss Elizabeth instantly makes one of your own. Her Mega Power maxes out the popularity, stamina, and morale of any wrestler.
This is incredibly overpowered when you consider that even a cheaply purchased wrestler can become your brand’s rockstar overnight. The popularity boost is powerful enough, but with the addition of max stamina and morale, the wrestler can be continuously reused at their peak.
Stephanie McMahon – The McMahon Presence
Stephanie McMahon is perhaps the most imbalanced GM in WWE 2K15. Considering her lineage, perhaps it is intentional. Yes, stealing a wrestler or making a star is great, but McMahon cuts straight to the chase with her McMahon Presence. The power card earns you twice as much money from arena attendance on the week it is used. It has no restrictions either, meaning you can save it for your biggest events and double your revenue straight away.
The benefits of using this card during your most anticipated matches are hard to overstate. Even using it in the mid-game would mean having deeper pockets to fill out your roster and drawing in fans with a greater number of stars.
