Learn how to perform the iconic and thrilling Catch Finishers in WWE 2K25 to spice up the fights with our guide.

WWE 2K25 allows players to easily perform the iconic Catch Finishers that fans have grown to love. It was always thrilling to watch a wrestler get grabbed from mid-air in the real deal, and it’s equally fun in the game. In our guide, we will show you the two ways you can perform this technique.
How To Perform Catch Finishers In WWE 2K25
There are two ways to perform catch finishers in WWE 2K25. The first one is relatively self-explanatory, but it is harder to execute. Players have to wait for the opponent to get on top of the ring’s rope. Now, they must press the Finisher button before the opponent jumps, which can be very tricky. However, with enough practice, it is possible to make it second nature.

The second way is to execute the Irish Whip to do a Rope Rebound. Afterward, press L1 to make the opponent airborne. Finally, press R2+X or RT+A to perform a Finisher, which will execute a Catch Finisher in this situation. Do keep in mind that this is only possible if the wrestler you are playing is able to perform a Catch Finisher, as some wrestlers do not have it.
Players have the option to assign Catch Finishers to any wrestler they’d like in WWE 2K25. However, there are a few wrestlers who have these finishers assigned to them by default. These are the ones that have it by default:
Catch Finisher | Wrestlers |
Attitude Adjustment | John Cena, Super Cena |
Chokeslam | The Undertaker, Kevin Nash, Diesel, Razor Ramon, Kane, Scott Hall, The Hurricane |
End of Days | Baron Corbin |
Front Slam | Ortis |
Forearm Smash | Wade Barrett |
GTS | CM Punk |
RKO | Randy Orton |
Pedigree | HHH, Hunter Hearst Helmsley |
Spear | Batista, Bron Breakker, Jey Uso, Roman Reigns |
Sweet Chin Music | Shawn Michaels, Jimmy Uso |
Sharpshooter | Bret Hart, Natalya |
Rock Bottom | The Rock, Becky Lynch, Jacob Fatu |
