Harding, a dwarf, is a former lead scout of the Inquisition and brings in several companion skills that can aid you in battle.

1) Razor Point
The first skill on this list, the Razor Point, perfectly demonstrates Harding’s supporting capabilities as a companion. The skill is a Passive Shred skill that boosts damage against armor by +50 percent. This allows you to break through enemy armor easily, exposing them to staggers and takedowns faster.
2) Valos Atredum
The Valos Atredum skill is the next skill we recommend keeping in your arsenal. The Passive Heavy Draw skill amplifies Heavy Draw damage by 20 percent, letting Harding do more damage with what is an already powerful skill. Valos Atredum also amplifies the stagger damage with the 20 percent boost, leaving enemies vulnerable and exposed.
3) Enduring Sunder
The third skill we recommend picking up is the Enduring Sunder. Shred inflicts the Sundered status effect, which increases the damage enemies take. The Enduring Sunder is an Ability Upgrade for the Shred skill tree. This skill increases the duration of Sundered by 50 percent, allowing you to deal high damage for longer periods.

The Shrapnel skill is an Ability Upgrade for Shred that takes advantage of Harding’s high critical rate. Every time you land a critical hit, the shot shatters into several titan stones. These titan stones scatter and hit all enemies in the vicinity like shrapnel from a grenade. The skill is best used to deal damage to large mobs of enemies all at once.
5) Spontaneous Shred
The last skill on this list, the Spontaneous Shred, lets you automatically use the Shred skill at no cost while also retaining manual control over the ability. Furthermore, the Spontaneous Shred skill has its own cooldown, separate from the cooldown of the manual Shred, allowing you to use the ability twice in succession and cleave through enemies with ease.
