Eliminate enemies from the skies in style with the help of this tier list for all Marvel Rivals Iron Man skins.

Marvel Rivals Iron Man Guide.
Here’s a tier list for all Iron Man skins in Marvel Rivals (Image via NetEase Games)

Iron Man has to be the best flying character in Marvel Rivals as of Season 0. He can hover freely everywhere, and fly fast whenever needed. The latter is what makes him a better flying hero compared to Storm. So, it becomes important that we take care of what Iron Man skins we are selecting in Marvel Rivals before a match.

Since the game has only been out for a few weeks, unfortunately, there are not many cosmetics for Iron Man yet. Moreover, he was not included in the Season 0 Battle Pass either. You will find only 4 skins for Iron Man in Marvel Rivals and these are as follows:

  • Default Iron Man
  • Armor Model 42
  • Superior Iron Man
  • Avengers: Endgame
  • Blood Edge Armor

Since there are not many skins in the game for the character yet, there won’t be many tiers either. But kindly note that we are not passing judgment or criticizing those who worked hard on these skins. Moreover, we do not ridicule anyone who uses the skins that we place in the lower tier. The tier list you are about to see contains the writer’s subjective opinions.

I could only use two tiers for this list because of the lack of Iron Man skins in Marvel Rivals. Moreover, there are no ‘bad’ skins for this character, so, no more tiers were needed besides S and A. Since these are cosmetic changes, they don’t affect gameplay at all. So, we have only judged them on their ‘appearance’. For further explanation behind this list, scroll below.

Season 1 brought several changes with it, along with a new and enhanced Battle Pass. This new Battle Pass is called Darkhold. Every item in the Battle Pass correlates to a darker theme. Even this Iron Man skin has a darker color scheme, as well as a demonic model design. It has a steampunk look to it, which is pretty rare for an Iron Man skin. I love the vibe that this skin gives off. It is a NetEase original skin and appears in Marvel Rivals S1 for the first time ever.

This may be a hot take but we prefer the original NetEase skin for Iron Man and the Armor Model 42 over the premium skins for the hero! Both are original designs inspired by specific comic book designs.

The default skin draws heavy inspiration from the classic Iron Man suit. The reason it’s so high up on the list is because of its high-tech design. One may expect this model to be outdated, but it looks just as good as any other modern re-imagination of Iron Man.

Armor Model 42, on the other hand, was inspired by the 2012 Iron Man #1 comic. However, it is not a one-to-one recreation. Instead, the developers and designers crafted it in such a way that it looks like an upgraded version of the default skin. The best part? It is free to claim using the bundle code that Marvel Rivals shared on its official social media handles.

These skins are just as good, but they don’t look too special compared to the ones we have already mentioned. The S-Tier skins for Iron Man looked like they had some work done on them. The two here are pretty simple in comparison.

The Avengers: Endgame skin is a brilliant recreation of the last Iron Man MCU look. I was never a fan of the direction of that suit, which is why it doesn’t look that appealing in Marvel Rivals either. But those who want it can get the entire bundle for 2600 Units.

The Superior Iron Man had his own comic in 2014. The concept of an ultra-egoistic hero (or villain) was so fascinating that he got his own sings in Marvel Rivals. Since you play both hero and villain in various matches, battling for what’s right, this skin fits right into the game’s Timestream Entanglement. Fans can own it for 1400 Units, or buy the entire bundle for 1600 Units instead.
