The Beast in the Ice is one of the uber bosses in Diablo 4. This boss is known for dropping Unique and even Mythical Unique items that can help players build their character. Players can adjust the world difficulty if they find the boss too hard, but the rewards get a downgrade too. How To Summon the Beast in the Ice
This uber boss is found in the Glacial Fissure dungeon located in Fractured Peaks. Torment level 1 is required to fight this boss, and players need to sacrifice 12 Distilled Fear to summon the boss. Players can acquire this summoning from the Tree of Whispers, elite monsters, world bosses, nightmare dungeons, and more.

The Beast in the Ice Boss Fight Guide
As the name suggests, the boss deals a lot of cold damage, so increasing cold resistance decreases the damage. Just like other bosses, the Beast in the Ice also has a stagger bar. The boss will be stunned for a few seconds after filling the stagger bar, so unleash all the powerful moves without any worries. Additionally, these are some special attacks players need to look out for:
- Frozen Strike: Each time the boss slashes with his sword, a number of ice crystals are thrown. These crystals release smaller ice spikes.
- Icy Breath: This attack works just like Frozen Strike. This time the boss exhales multiple ice crystals that release ice spikes.
- Frostquake: The beast slams his sword on the ground creating several ice pools. Stay clear of these pools to avoid damage.
- Leap Attack: The boss leaps into the air, and as he slams the ground, multiple ice crystals and ice spikes attack the player.
- Icy Hail: During this attack, the boss puts his blade into the ground, and 4 explosives made of ice attack the player. Moreover, these explosives release icy waves, so make sure to dodge them to minimize the damage.
- Summon: The beast will summon two elite enemies at 30% health. Defeat these enemies quickly and stay away from the boss’ attacks.
The Beast in the Ice has a lot of different icy attacks, and it might take a while to learn his patterns. This fight is all about timing and correct usage of abilities.
