Effects of Drinking in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
You can get drunk very easily in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. As a matter of fact, all you need to do is consume alcoholic drinks in high amounts. You can see your drunk level in an icon shown on the left of your health bar. When drunk, you go through two phases. The first phase gives you various buffs, and the second phase provides various debuffs. The positive effects include delayed fatigue and increased strength. The negative effects include:
- Lesser stamina
- Decreased charisma and speech
- Increased Conspicuousness
- Less amount of sleep
Every time you drink, you get hangovers the next morning you wake up. Walking can be very difficult while having a hangover. You can either drink the Hair-o-the-dog potion or let it pass by. You also gain experience every time you drink, which increases your drinking level and unlocks many new perks. Moreover, many perks reduce the negative effects, and some increase the positive effect of drinking by a lot. One perk called Nightcap permanently removes hangovers.

Getting Addicted to Drinking in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Additionally, drinking a lot can result in a very negative effect. Constant consumption of alcohol to fill up hunger can result in Henry getting addicted to it. Due to this, Henry starts complaining about not drinking enough, resulting in always having to carry alcohol. As you level up your drinking skills, the chances of getting addicted lower but never go away.
