There are a few entry fraggers in FragPunk, and Corona is one of them. His whole kit is about getting in, killing one or two enemies, and creating space for his team. In Valorant terms, he is a mixture of Jett and Phoenix. Corona is a very aggressive lancer, and when played with good supports, he can lead his team towards victory. Corona’s Abilities in FragPunk
He has the power to dash in and flash anyone who dares to look at him. Corona has the following abilities:
- Fast Lane: Dashes forward a short distance. The dash distance is shorter when moving vertically.
- Ashes to Ashes: Throws a device that activates a war zone when hitting the ground, dealing minor damage over time to enemies in its zone. Provides Corona himself damage reduction and a speed boost when he is in the war zone.
- Hothead: After a short charge, blinds all enemies looking directly at Corona.

Corona’s Playstyle in FragPunk
As mentioned earlier, Corona is the most aggressive lancer in FragPunk. Where all other lancers have a very technical kit, he uses raw power to enter the site and kill enemies. The process is simple: activate Hothead, and just before the blind happens, dash into the site using Fast Lane. This is the simplest thing that can catch enemies off guard. Moreover, he can deny pushes using his Ashes to Ashes ability.
Always keep the following points in mind when playing Corona:
- Corona shines the most when he is played with lancers who can detect enemies before pushing into the site.
- This is a very simple yet important tip: keep an eye on the Hothead timer, as it can make or break an attack.
- There are many abilities that stop enemies from defusing the converter, and one of them is Ashes to Ashes. Try to save this ability till the end to tickle enemies with fire. Moreover, when playing defense, this ability can stop pushes and give your team time to regroup.
