Everything you need to know about the Guild Points in Monster Hunter Wilds, including how to obtain them, the best farming methods, and more.

Farming for resources is essentially the primary gameplay and progression loop in most Monster Hunter games, save for the Monster Hunter Stories titles. Although resource-gathering has been simplified in the series’ latest entry, Monster Hunter Wilds, it’s still an integral part of the core gameplay loop.
Although the game does explain most of the basics of how to obtain important resources, it does skip out on a few crucial ones. For instance, the game does not explain the role or even the most optimal way of earning or farming the Guild Points. While it might not be as important as Zenny, Guild Points are still a very crucial resource that’s used for several gameplay systems.
Most importantly, the Guild Points are required to set up Pop-up Camps, repair them, or even switch their locations. Here’s everything you need to know about the Guild Points in Monster Hunter Wilds and how to easily farm them.
How To Obtain Guild Points in Monster Hunter Wilds?

The primary means of obtaining Guild Points is completing the hunting quests. Completing almost any quest gives you Guild Points as a reward alongside Zenny. However, compared to the main story quests, the High Rank Investigations offer a higher Guild Point payout.
Furthermore, completing the Optional and Side Quests also offers a good amount of Guild Points. if you’re looking for the highest Guild Points payout, go for the Tempered Monster Investigations. The Apex Monster hunting quests also offer plenty of Guild Points as rewards. However, those usually only appear during Inclemency. The primary use for the Guild Points is to set up Pop-up Camps.
However, they also come in handy if you plan to use the weather cycle system. Furthermore, Guild Points are also required to make purchases from the Support Ship.
Best Methods To Farm Guild Points

The best way to get Guild Points is to obtain them by completing the main story and optional quests. However, there are a few other methods to obtain a ton of Guild Points relatively faster. Essentially, there are two methods that can help you gather Guild Points much faster than the usual grinding through multiple hunts.
The first method involves seeking out SOS requests, particularly for Tempered Monsters and multiple hunts. The second method involves fishing, which is much faster. Tempered Monsters already give out a much larger Guild Point payout compared to their regular counterpart. However, completing the quests in multiplayer makes it much easier to go through the quest.
Furthermore, the Investigations with multiple hunts offer an even larger payout of Guild Points. It should be noted that, unlike Zenny, Guild Points do not get divided based on the number of members in a quest. As for fishing, it gives out a lower payout of Guild Points. However, you can catch multiple fish in very little time, which rewards you with a ton of Guild Points quite fast. The best place to farm fish for Guild Points is the Area 8 underground cave in Scarlet Forest. You can even set up a Pop-up Camp nearby to expedite the farming process.
