For instance, if you’re looking to improve your current healing capabilities, you’ll want to go off the beaten track to locate the High Capacity Blood Bags. You won’t get this item by simply completing the primary quests.

How To Get High Capacity Blood Bags in Death Stranding 2

You get many of the item schematics and other rewards by establishing and improving connections with the facilities and bases you come across while exploring Australia and Mexico. And the High Capacity Blood Bag is no different in this regard.

You will have to reach Chapter 5 of the game to finally reach the Motherhood facility and add it to the Chiral Network. Once that’s done, you will be able to take on Aid Requests and optional orders from the Doctor Prepper at the Motherhood facility. Performing these jobs for the facility will earn you Likes, which will eventually help you improve your connection level with the base.

When you reach Level 3 with Motherhood, the Doctor will reward you with the High Capacity Blood Bag. Keep in mind, that like other healing items, you will need to craft and equip the High Capacity Blood Bags in your inventory before venturing out into the world.

How To Use the High Capacity Blood Bags in Death Stranding 2

As we stated before, you will first need to craft the High Capacity Blood Bags using 10x Resin and 15x Chiral Crystals before you can begin using them. These upgraded Blood Bags offer twice the healing to Sam when compared to the standard Blood Bags that you’ve been using since the beginning. With so much healing potential, you can last longer during combat encounters, and Sam can take more damage without fear of death.
