Scheduled for release on April 28, 2023 Jedi Survivor will launch on the following platforms:
- Xbox Series X|S,
- PlayStation 5
- PC
Will Jedi: Survivor release on Playstation 4 or Xbox One?
Unfortunately for those who haven’t upgraded to either of the newer platforms, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will only be releasing on next-gen consoles (and PC).
This was a conscious decision made by the developers, who wanted to take advantage of the faster processors, larger/faster memory, and better loading times. Consequently, the greater overall performace of the newest consoles would allow them to create larger maps/areas.
Jedi: Survivor in Brief
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an upcoming action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe. Specifically, it is the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (originally released in 2019) and is being developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts.
The game is set five years after the events of Fallen Order and follows Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan who survived Order 66. Now a more powerful Jedi Knight, Cal has subsequently become “the Empire’s most wanted”.
