How to Defeat Floor 10 Oblivion Skeleton Commander in Throne and Liberty

The Taedal’s Tower dungeon gradually increases in difficulty from lower to higher floors. The Oblivion Skeleton Commander wields a huge longsword and slashes you if you are not careful. He also has a large reserve of health. Defeating Oblivion Skeleton Commander is quite difficult when you don’t follow any strategy or tactics.

The Oblivion Skeleton Commander follows several attack patterns, which you must know if you want to defeat him:

  • His first and most dangerous ability is AoE Jump. He will jump high and land on the arena with a massive effect. If you get caught, it will deplete most of your health for sure. So, make sure to jump at the right time when he is about to make contact with the ground to avoid this massive damage.
  • The Oblivion Skeleton Commander also dashes towards you. This not only lowers your health but also gets you stunned and vulnerable. So, try to evade his dash.
  • His other mysterious ability is Cloud Pull. He will unleash a cloud of energy that passes through you. When you see it, evade it by sliding sidewards. If you stay in the path, it will damage you during its return and pull you to him.
  • When Oblivion Skeleton Commander loses most of his health, he will jump and pull you toward him. This pull can’t be avoided. So hurry and jump back after the pull to avoid incoming damage.

Watch out for the purple circle when it appears. Try to perfect block or evade his next incoming attack at the right moment.

Best Weapons to Use Against Oblivion Skeleton Commander

You need to be equipped with a proper weapon to counter the dangerous longsword and defeat the Oblivion Skeleton Commander. Both ranged and melee weapons are great for defeating the Oblivion Skeleton Commander. Study his attack patterns and form a strike plan. Also, make sure to upgrade your weapons and equipment before entering the arena.
