Can You Trade With Friends in Throne and Liberty?

Despite having an extensive Guilds and friends system, Throne and Liberty does not allow direct trade with your friends.

The world of Throne and Liberty is filled with plenty of gear to find and loot. You can attempt the dungeons or fight the several enemies scattered across the world. As you play with friends, you will stack up your inventories with different items and may often find yourself eyeing a piece of armor or a weapon your friend has. Your friends may also find themselves doing the same, and a trade would be ideal in such an instance.

Unfortunately, you cannot directly trade weapons or gear with friends in Throne and Liberty. However, there are other (complicated) methods you can use to swap gear.

Auction Your Gear in Throne and Liberty

To swap any weapons or armor with your friends, you will have to use Throne and Liberty’s in-game Auction House. Press F11 to access the Main Menu and click on Auction House on the second row. In the Auction House, you will see three tabs: Purchase, Sell and Sell History. These tabs work much like their names suggest.

The Auction House lets you buy and sell weapons, armor, accessories, crafting materials, food, and much more. So, if you wish to give a weapon or a piece of armor to your friend, you will have to put it up in the Auction House, and your friend will have to buy it. This is a complex way of doing trade but the only available method Throne and Liberty offers at the moment.

By putting items up for auction, you run the risk of having other potential buyers instead of just your friend. So, coordinate with your friend to ensure that the sale goes through without any hurdles. Similarly, you can also get gear from your friend by having them put the gear up for auction and then purchasing it.

How to Earn Lucent for the Auction House

One negative of the Auction House is that you can only trade in Lucent. You can acquire Lucent using real money, which can be a roadblock when trading. Thankfully, you can earn Lucent by selling stuff in the Auction House. Explore Solisium and gather materials that you can sell on the Auction House for Lucent. You can also put up old weapons for sale and use the Lucent you earn for “trading” with your friend.
