Throne and Liberty showcases its might as a modern-day RPG by bringing in real-time weather changes to its servers. For example, you can experience an Eclipse in the game. The effect that the Eclipse has on Solisium isn’t just cosmetic. NCSoft has put in cool mechanics that lets you interact with the weather change.

If you experienced an Eclipse, it was likely triggered by a fellow player on your Throne and Liberty server. Sounds cool, right? We will teach you how you can do the same, so you don’t have to rely on others to block the Sun.

The ability that allows you to cast an Eclipse in the game is called Transcending Power: Eclipse. Since it is a skill, you may think it’s easy to obtain. However, that cannot be further from the truth.

  • Make sure to enter PvP conflict zones and kill as many enemies as you can. We would suggest you go for enemies higher than level 11 to procure more Kill Points. The higher the enemy levels, the better. Don’t farm the same enemy over and over again as this can reduce the KP you receive.
  • Pay attention to the Kill Rankings when they are updated daily on the server. The player with the highest Kill Ranking automatically gets access to Transcending Power: Eclipse.
  • Maintain your position on top daily to avoid letting enemy players take over the powerful skill.

The Eclipse Is Not Just for Aesthetics

One of the immediate effects of the Transcending Power: Eclipse skill on the server is that the environment will appear darker and have a reddish tint. This adds to the fantasy that Throne and Liberty brings to the table. The character who applies the Eclipse will turn on stealth by default for themselves and for the teammates who are in a 5m radius. This effect lasts for about 30 seconds or until somebody uses a skill.

The Eclipse can be a useful tool to tackle enemy forces, but you should also just enjoy the chaos it brings. The Peace time will end immediately and all conflict zones will remain erratic for 10 minutes straight.

Choose wisely when you wish to use this skill because it has a whopping 12-hour cooldown. This may sound unfair but helps balance the overpowered skill.
