Steps to get Adamantine Mace in BG3?
The Adamantine Mace cannot be obtained directly in the Forgotten Lands but instead has to be crafted with the use of two difficult-to-find ingredients. You can craft this weapon at the Adamantine Forge using a Mace mould and Mithral ore. There are only two Mithral ores in the game so be careful with how you use them.
Get the Mace Mould
The first ingredient required to craft the Adamantine Mace is the Mace mould. The Mace mould can be found near the Ancient Forge waypoint, resting on a table at (X: -609 Y: 284). Spawn at the waypoint and look towards your right to find the mould. The mould blends in with the table and can be easy to miss.
Get the Mithral Ores
There are two Mihtral ores in the game, both of which lie in the Underdark. Mithral ores rest inside Mithral veins, so you will have to mine the ores from these rocks. You will find the first Mithral vein southeast of the Ancient Forge waypoint in Grymforge, down a flight of stairs. This path will then diverge to the left towards broken stairs. Follow the path and parkour past the gaps to reach the first Mithral Vein.
As for the second Mithral Vein, head right from the Ancient Forge waypoint and follow the path along the edge of the cliff. Parkour past the gaps and you will reach the second Mithral Vein. Use bludgeoning weapons to hit the Mithral Veins and mine the ores.
What is the Use of Adamantine Mace?
The Adamantine Mace is your best bet against enemies with bludgeoning resistance such as the Death Shepherds or the Flaming Sphere creatures. This allows the Adamantine Mace to be a viable option where a standard mace would be of no use.
