Collect all seven Candlehops scattered across Dock Town in Dragon Age: The Veilguard to find a unique weapon and other treasures.
The world of Thedas is filled to the brim with secrets for you to find. Perhaps the most mysterious of these are the Candlehops hidden across Dock Town. These Candlehops bear ominous secret messages on them, addressing Rook and crew and enticing you to find them all. Collecting all the Candlehops will lead you to a hidden room filled with chests and valuable items.
In this guide, we shall go over all the Candlehop locations in Dragon Age: The Veilguard so you can reach those chests and treasures easily.
All Candlehop Locations in Dock Town
There are seven Candlehops hidden throughout Dock Town. Their locations are as follows:
| Candlehop | Location |
| #1 | Spawn at the Safehouse beacon in Dock Town and take a left. Keep heading straight down the hall and take the first left to find a staircase leading below. The first Candlehop is at the landing. |
| #2 | Head east from the Razikale Walk beacon and make your way into the Temple of Andraste. Keep heading east through the Temple Courtyard and take the first staircase on your right near the gates. Head down the stairs to find the second Candlehop. |
| #3 | Spawn at the Central Market beacon and take the ladder right behind the beacon. Head to the upper levels and follow the path east and parkour across the gap ahead to reach the next rooftop. Go to the southern edge of this roof and drop down to the ledge below to reach the Warrens. Move north from right where you landed to find the third Candlehop. |
| #4 | Head east from the Aula’s Lookout beacon and take the ladder ahead. Follow the path straight, and you will find the fourth Candlehop. |
| #5 | Spawn at the Parthenius Main Docks beacon and head to the northern end of the docks. Enter the tower with the portcullis and take two subsequent lefts to reach a ship. Go past the ship and take the first left to find the fifth Candlehop beacon. |
| #6 | From the Central Market beacon, head southwest towards the market itself and take two subsequent rights to enter the Black Emporium and find your sixth Candlehop. |
| #7 | Spawn at the Shoreline Passage beacon and head west towards the Thread Storehouse to find the final Candlehop. |
Rewards
After you’ve collected all seven Candlehops, head back to the Safehouse beacon. Take the hallway on the left and the first right after that to find another Candlehop on a desk. Interact with it to open a secret passageway and head upstairs to find the treasure chests. These chests reward you with mementos and the Imperial Knot Unique Maul.
