Amazon Games doesn’t have any plans to support mods or add-ons in Throne and Liberty as they prefer players to play the unmodified version.
Throne and Liberty launched globally on October 1, 2024, and many players are looking for ways to enhance their experience using mods. Game mods, created by the community or third-party sources, usually make changes to the content or features of a game. Several AAA titles, such as GTA 5 and The Sims 4, support mods. Using mods allows for a greater degree of freedom. Unfortunately, Throne and Liberty does not support mods.
No Mod Support Planned for Throne and Liberty, Says Amazon Games
Amazon Games mentioned that there are no plans for supporting add-ons or mods in a Wccftech exclusive. In an exclusive Q&A email, Daniel Lafuente, the Globalization Design Manager at Amazon Games, responded to several questions about Throne and Liberty. In response to the question, “Are there any plans to add support for player-made addons or mods?”, Daniel Lafuente answered:
“We do not have plans to support add-ons or mods at this time.”
Daniel was also asked whether the game will include any combat log and/or damage meter. He said that discussions about adding a damage meter are currently going on.
Going by Daniel Lafuente’s response, it is clear that Throne and Liberty will not support any add-ons or mods anytime soon. Mods can be quite fun and creative, but Amazon Games is prioritizing maintaining the original vision for Throne and Liberty.
