The downtime for the Lost Isles update in LEGO Fortnite has already begun, and it will likely last for a few hours.
Epic Games is currently working on implementing the Lost Isles update in LEGO Fortnite. It will bring many breathtaking secrets and sights for you to explore in the game. Like with every substantial update, the developer has taken the servers down to ensure that the updation process goes smoothly. The servers for Fortnite were taken down at 4 AM ET on September 17, 2024.
How Long May the LEGO Fortnite Lost Isles Update Downtime Last?
All services within Fortnite, including the LEGO game mode and matchmaking, are currently down. Going by how previous updates have panned out, it is likely that the downtime will last up until 9 AM ET. Epic Games will likely take about five hours to implement the update.
However, there is always a chance that the server downtime ends earlier. The servers could be back up before 9 AM ET based on how quickly the updation is complete. Keep an eye on official Epic Games channels, such as their blogs and social media, if you want to test the update as soon as it goes live.
What Will Be Featured in the LEGO Fortnite Lost Isles Update?
Epic Games has provided us with a long list of changes that will be introduced with the v31.20 update. The Lost Isles, a brand new area with five biomes for you to discover and explore, will be added to the game. Additionally, the update will mark the long-awaited return of Klombo. The creature has been rumored to return ever since the initial 2024 Fortnite roadmap leak. Now, the dinosaur-like creature will be able to roam the Lost Isles in the blocky LEGO landscape.
