He created a battle system, explored the political landscape of various kingdoms, and even established a hierarchy within the kingdoms to flesh out the series. Therefore, the series has created and introduced a plethora of characters.
There are many royal families in Black Clover. One of the most popular ones is House Vermillion. Fans who have not acquainted themselves with the series have been exposed to this family in particular, and they have one question in particular – who is Fuegoleon Vermillion in Black Clover?
He is the eldest son of the Vermillion family. Furthermore, he is the captain of the Crimson Lion Squad of the Magic Knights. There are 9 magic squads in total. The Crimson Lion is one of the most popular ones, featuring an array of mages who have a powerful and explosive fighting style. He is a tall man with vermillion-colored hair with red markings around his eyes. Fuegoleion sports a white-colored tunic with a dark blue shirt containing gold-colored designs. He has an affinity for Fire Magic. Members of House Vermillion seem to possess this trait. He can attack mages with an incredible amount of fire, which can scorch almost anything it touches.
He also has access to creation magic in the Black Clover series. Fuegoleon can create fire that is shaped like various objects. One of the main utilities is to conceal. He can use the fire to hold and apprehend a person in place. Additionally, he can use fire to reinforce his strength and other physical abilities. Last but not least, Fuegoleon also has access to Salamander.

His Salamander came in handy and helped him defeat some of the toughest opponents. There was an attempted assassination that sent Fuegoleon to a comatose state. However, he persevered and came back even stronger. These are some of the feats that fans have witnessed in the Black Clover series.
Fuegoleon’s Role in Black Clover
It’s clear that Fuegoleon plays the role of an important side character. There are plenty of squad captains, and he has received a decent amount of screen time. However, captains like Yami Sukehiro are more important to the show owing to their close relationship with the protagonist of the series. Additionally, Fuegoleon’s fighting style makes him quite popular among fans. They would love to see him more frequently. That being said, it’s quite unlikely that he will receive more screen time in the anime series.
