Ara History Untold, Oxide Games’ massive turn-based strategy title, will not be released on Xbox and PlayStation.
Ara History Untold will bring a new turn-based strategy experience to the table. The game will allow players to build a nation and guide its people through an alternate version of history. Given this unique premise and setting, many are excited to jump into the game when it launches on PC. Ara History Untold will, unfortunately, not be released on Xbox and PlayStation, at least for now.
Why Ara History Untold Will Not Be Available on Xbox and PlayStation
Ara History Untold, developed by Oxide Games and published by Xbox Game Studios, will launch on September 24, 2024. Given that Xbox is directly backing the title, it makes sense that the title is not available on PlayStation platforms. At the moment, it is unclear whether the game may arrive on Xbox consoles sometime in the future.
While the title is published by Xbox Game Studios, it will not be released on Xbox at launch. This could potentially be due to the nature of the game. Turn-based strategy gameplay requires a more free-hand approach, which is heavily limited by controllers, the primary input on consoles.
However, Xbox owners should not lose hope altogether. The developer could potentially announce an Xbox port for the game later down the line. PlayStation, on the other hand, may never support Ara History Untold since it is a competing platform.
Ara History Unfold is set to be quite an exciting release. The game will be available on PC Game Pass when it launches on September 24. You can check out the system requirements and prep accordingly.
