Spear is arguably the most overpowered weapon type in The First Berserker Khazan, simply due to the skills it has access to. While developer Neople did nerf some of the Spear skills like Phantom Heatwave as well as the Moonlight Stance, it’s still an incredibly powerful weapon when paired with the right armor set. Furthermore, in the final stretch of the game, the Spear is arguably the best choice for players who want to easily cut through bosses without much hassle.

That being said, there’s still a fairly steep learning curve associated with the weapon. In addition to that, unlike the Dual Wield, Spear is highly dependent on the build as well as the passive bonuses it has to offer.

Thankfully, in the endgame, you can easily craft incredibly overpowered Spear builds with very little grinding. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to craft the best Spear build for The First Berserker Khazan’s endgame.

For the best endgame Spear build, we’re going with the Golden Set for two main reasons: Trance and the raw DPS of Survivor’s Spear. With four pieces of the Golden Set equipped, you get a permanent 20% damage boost for Trance, which is going to be the primary damage dealer using this build.

Furthermore, with the full set equipped, you get access to Moonlight Awakening. While Trance alone is mighty powerful, Moonlight Awakening pushes the skill to the limits of being overpowered. Additionally, Moonlight Awakening is a passive skill. Essentially, with Moonlight Awakening active, your Swift Attack after Trance becomes a Piercing Attack without any additional input.

In addition to all this, the Golden Set also comes with the Dodge Stamina Cost and Rear Assault bonuses. Both these perks are extremely helpful against bosses like Reese and Ozma. You can also work Phantom Heatwave into this build. However, we recommend sticking with Trance and Shadow Reversal. Lastly, we highly recommend using the Stunned Jar with this set. The Jar grants you 10 additional Proficiency points, increasing the overall damage as well as the defenses of the build.

Also, equipping the Jars doesn’t affect the set bonuses, giving you full access to the Golden Set’s perks alongside the additional Proficiency. Let’s take a detailed look at the build’s various components.

For an alternative option, you can use the Fallen Lord’s set, which grants a good boost to Spiral Thrust and raw DPS. This armor set also boasts pretty decent defensive perks, which come in handy against Ozma. Furthermore, you can still use Trance with this armor set without compromising too much on the skill’s damage output. The only thing you will be missing out on is Moonlight Awakening.

However, with clever stamina management, you can make Trance work equally as well as Moonlight Awakening. Here’s a look at Fallen Lord’s set’s perks:

  • 2-Piece Bonus: Charged Attack Damage Increase – 10%
