Is there a way for players to jump back into Indiana Jones and the Great Circle even after beating the main story?
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle offers an expansive main story despite having a linear narration. The game wasn’t technically created with a linear environment in mind. While the game isn’t a typical open world, it offers a wide array of side quests. So, what happens once you finish the main quests?
After the endgame, the story of the Great Circle comes to a close. The game kept this narration to fit the story chronologically with the movie franchise. But don’t worry. Fans can still keep playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle even after beating it. There is a catch to it, though.
How to Venture Out as Indiana Jones After the Main Story?
Sticking to the main story will take you around 20-30 hours, depending on your playstyle and how you like to go about a new virtual world. However, there is still plenty to do in the world of the Great Circle that you might miss the first time around.
Apart from the secrets and collectibles that Indy would love to come across, there are over 50 side quests that you can complete. You can’t ‘fail’ them if you don’t do them right away. And there is no correct order of doing them. Remember that all of the side quests take place before the game’s ending.
In this sense, you can’t continue the story after beating it. But on the flip side of things, the game lets you go back and complete the leftover activities.
Once the game comes to a close, you can replay the last mission and complete everything that you couldn’t do earlier. The only drawback is the fact that you would need to fight the last battle once more. However, this is still an impressive feature for a game that is focused solely on linear narration.
If you are competitive or have rushed through the main story as a fan of the character, we highly suggest that you dive back into the game and discover the stones that were left unturned. After all, not every linear game lets you pull this off!
