Destiny 2 Circular Logic Machine Gun

Destiny 2 Circular Logic God Roll and How to Get

Welcome to Circular Logic Destiny 2 Circular Logic God Roll and How to Get Guide! The weapon is a strand adaptive frame heavy machine gun from Neomuna. This being the only strand heavy weapon currently available on the release of Lightfall, it is sure to turn some heads. Heavy machine guns are traditionally used as ad clear weapons with decent boss damage but with a strong perk pool and stats this weapon is definitely a jack of all trades.

You can also obtain them as random drops from the Neomuna Location Vendor, Nimbus or the Terminal Overload activity.

PvE – Circular Logic God Roll

BarrelArrowhead Break
MagazineExtended Mag
Perk 1Envious Assassin
Perk 2Target Lock
Origin TraitNanotech Tracer Rockets
MasterworkReload
ModBoss Spec

Barrel: For the barrel perk, we are going with arrowhead break. This will give you better recoil direction giving you a better opportunity to land back to back shots. It also gives a small boost in weapon handling allowing you to swap to this weapon quickly for quick damage.

Magazine: With the magazine we are going to get thirteen extra bullets by going with Extended Mag. While this perk does remove some of our reload speed it gives us a massive mag to overflow with our other perks and keep us firing longer for our damage perk.

Column 3 Perk: Envious Assassin seems like a strong new perk for any non-primary weapon. It will reload your weapon from reserves by swapping to it after rapidly defeating other enemies.

Column 4 Perk: Lastly, Target Lock is really strong damage perk. Multi-times stacking damage boost that increases your damage while you continue to hit the target. Now you will lose your stacks upon missing a single shot but with most bosses being incredibly large this shouldn’t be too much of an issue.

Masterwork: For the masterwork, we are going with Reload Speed. Since we have a decently low reload speed and a perk that only gives us one overflowed mag at a time, its important we are able to reload as fast as possible for the highest dps. This also helps us counter part of the reduction in reload speed extended mag gives.

Mod: Boss spec is the only option here. This is a boss dps weapon so we want to give a mod that increases our boss damage.

Conclusion: Overall, this is a strong contender for a dps heavy machine gun. Its has some strong and interesting perks that could synergize quite well with the right build.

PvP – Circular Logic God Roll

BarrelArrowhead Brake
MagazineRicochet Rounds
Perk 1Keep Away
Perk 2Hatchling
Origin TraitNanotech Tracer Rockets
MasterworkHandling
ModTargeting Adjuster

Barrel: Similar to the PVE roll, we are going with arrowhead break. This will give you better recoil direction giving you a better opportunity to land back to back shots. It also gives a small boost in weapon handling allowing you to swap to this weapon quickly for quick damage.

Magazine: Ricochet rounds are the choice for our mag. These give a slight boost in range and in stability while giving a passive bonus that the bullets can ricochet around corners finishing off an enemy that may have just stepped out of your line of sight.

Column 3 Perk: We are going with a new perk called Keep Away. This gives a boost in reload, range, and accuracy when no enemies are nearby. This is great to increase our stats as long as we aren’t super close to our enemies.

Column 4 Perk: For our final perk, Hatchling is the obvious choice. This gives us a threadling on a precision final blow giving great strand synergy an just a fun perk to use.

Masterwork: Handling masterwork is the must have to allow us to ads and swap weapons faster should we need to switch off or back onto the weapon after getting some heavy ammo in PVP.

Mod: Targeting Adjuster is a great choice here. This gives a small boost in your aim assist making your bullets more likely to hit the target.

Conclusion: Heavy machine guns are great weapons to chain multiple kills in PVP. They are great for larger player playlists giving you an opportunity to wipe out multiple enemies with a single heavy drop.
