Welcome to our Destiny 2 Dimensional Hypotrochoid God Roll Guide! The Dimensional Hypotrochoid is a heavy compressed wave frame grenade launcher from Neomuna. In recent years, wave frames have been a staple in both PVP and PVE but this is the first heavy version of the archetype we’ve seen. Coming into the game with some strong perks, this grenade launcher has yet to be truly tried and tested but has a lot of potential to be incredibly strong and is a solid pick up for any guardian wanting to test out a new weapon archetype.
How to Get Dimensional Hypotrochoid
Obtaining Dimensional Hypotrochoid drops is quite straightforward. Simply participating in public events, opening chests, completing activities on Neomuna have a chance to drop you more rolls on the Dimensional Hypotrochoid. You can also obtain them as random drops from the Neomuna Location Vendor, Nimbus or the Terminal Overload activity.

Barrel: For the barrel perk, we are going with Quick Launch. This gives a boost in velocity and handling letting our shot reach the enemies feet sooner and allowing us to swap to this weapon faster.
Magazine: With the magazine there are only two choices for wave frame GLs. The one that benefits us the most is High-Velocity Rounds. The boost in velocity lets our shots reach our enemies faster and the reload helps get out more shots faster.
Column 3 Perk: Envious Assassin seems like a strong new perk for any non-primary weapon. It will reload your weapon from reserves by swapping to it after rapidly defeating other enemies.
Column 4 Perk: Our final perk is Chain Reaction. This perk great for getting multiple kills off one shot wiping out entire rooms of ads giving the weapon strong ad clear potential
Masterwork: Handling is our masterwork of choice since it gives a small boost in handling allowing us to swap to and ready the weapon faster so you can diss out as much damage as possible
Mod: Boss Spec is the go to mod for heavy weapons. This weapon is sure to tear through any low health enemies at base damage so improving the damage we do against bosses is neccessary.
Conclusion: This heavy grenade launcher is something special. Our first ever heavy wave frame grenade launcher did not disappoint with some great consistent perks and good stats.

Column 3 Perk: Threat detector is our choice here. There aren’t a lot of strong options in this column but extra handling when near enemies can be the difference between swapping to the weapon and getting off a shot or getting killed first.
Column 4 Perk: Our final perk is Chain Reaction. This perk has always been a PVP favorite for its ability to get multi-kills off one shot. With limited heavy ammo spawns in PVP and limited ammo when you pick it up, a perk that can kill multiple enemies with one shot will always be strong.
Masterwork: Handling is our masterwork of choice since it gives a small boost in handling allowing us to swap to and ready the weapon faster so you have the best chance to secure your kills.
Mod: Our choice of mod pairs well with our other perks, Quick Access Sling. This is similar to our other perks by giving us the ability to draw our weapon as fast as possible.
Conclusion: This being the first wave frame heavy grenade launcher there is no safe way to say how strong it will be in PVP. Although, wave frames have always been a strong choice for PVP and should this one shot kill anyone in its path it seems like a great experiential choice for a multi-kill weapon in PVP.
