Destiny 2 Round Robin Hand Cannon

Destiny 2 Round Robin God Roll and How to Get

Welcome to Destiny 2 Round Robin God Roll and How to Get Guide! The Round Robin is a strand aggressive frame 120rpm handcannon obtainable on Neomuna. 120rpm Handcannons have always had a place in the game with their high damage per bullet and ease of use. With high aim assist, long range, nice perks, and synergy with the new strand subclass, this handcannon is a must have for any guardians arsenal.

Barrel: For the barrel perk, we are going with Fluted Barrel. This will give you a boost in stability and handling helping you be more accurate and take less flinch while also allowing you to ready and aim the weapon faster.

Magazine: With the magazine we are going to improve the weapons reload speed and stability by choosing Flared Magwell. This boost in reload is massive for an archetype notorious for slow reload speed.

Column 3 Perk: Fourth Times the Charm is the go to perk here. This generates us two bullets every time we land four precision shots. With handcannons being a precision based weapon this perk ties in well with the usage of the gun.

Column 4 Perk: For our final perk, Hatchling is the obvious choice. This gives us a threadling on a precision final blow giving great strand synergy and synergy with our other perks and weapon archetype.

Masterwork: Reload masterwork is a must have. With a slow reloading weapon, this boost in reload speed will help the weapon feel a lot less clunky while reloading and letting us push out as much damage as possible.

Mod: With our mod choice we are going with backup mag. This gives us 3 extra bullets on a mag that already has a low base mag size giving us more chances to proc our other perks.

Conclusion: Aggressive frame handcannons may not be the strongest archetype for general use PVE, but they can be incredibly strong with the right perks and especially as an anti-champion weapon. With Round Robin being one of the few strand weapons currently available this is sure to be a pick up for any strand based build or any guardian needing a strong anti-champion handcannon.

PvP – Round Robin God Roll

Barrel: Similar to PVE with the barrel perk, we are going with Fluted Barrel. This will give you a boost in stability and handling helping you be more accurate and take less flinch while also allowing you to ready and aim the weapon faster.

Magazine: Ricochet rounds are the choice for our mag. These give a slight boost in range and in stability while giving a passive bonus that the bullets can ricochet around corners finishing off an enemy that may have just stepped out of your line of sight.

Column 3 Perk: We are going with a new perk called Keep Away. This gives a boost in reload, range, and accuracy when no enemies are nearby. This is great to increase our stats as long as we aren’t super close to our enemies.

Column 4 Perk: Opening shot is a must have perk here. A tried and true favorite for PVP weapons for its increased range, accuracy, and aim assist on your first shot of an engagement. With fast time to kill times with most weapons, often the person who gets the first shot off wins. This gives you the best chance to secure your first shot and hopefully your kill.

Masterwork: For the masterwork, we are going with Stability. This is important for reducing recoil and flinch while using the weapon. This archetype is known for low stability and handling in exchange for massive amounts of range. This masterwork will help eliminate the negatives of using this archetype.

Mod: For mod choice we are going with Icarus Grip. Since handcannons have great base aim assist and opening shot grants a little extra aim assist, we are going to focus more on in air playstyle. With the Airborne Effectiveness system in the game this will allow you to land any airborne shots easier.

Conclusion: This archetype used to be a mainstay in PVP, it suffered a few nerfs but has risen back in popularity to contest the rise of pulse rifles as it has range near to pulse rifles. Round Robin comes with some really strong perks and good stats across the board making it a great choice for any PVP player wanting a great handcannon.
