The Destiny 2 Disparity God Roll is a stasis aggressive burst pulse rifle released during Season of the Seraph. Pulse rifles are commonly used as anti-champion weapons in difficult PVE content like Grandmaster Nightfalls and are meta choices in PVP. This weapon like other seasonal weapons will not be regularly obtainable after the Lightfall DLC release.

How to Obtain Disparity
In order to obtain and craft this weapon you need the season pass for Season of Seraph, and the Witch Queen DLC. You can receive it as a drop completing Seraph seasonal activities or focus it through the seasonal kiosk in the Helm. The Disparity is crafted upon obtaining and completing five deepsight resonance versions of the weapons. There are three upgrades you will need in your seasonal upgrade path to ensure you are farming as efficiently as possible: Focusing Deepsight, Heisted Deepsight, and Seraphic Deepsight Bonus.
PVE – Disparity God Roll
The following list presents Destiny 2 Disparity God Roll traits for PvE
Slot | Perk |
Barrel | Arrowhead Break |
Magazine | Tactical Mag |
Perk 1 | Rapid Hit |
Perk 2 | One For All, Headstone |
Origin Trait | Hakke Breach Armaments |
Masterwork | Handling |
Mod | Minor Spec |
Barrel: For the barrel perk, we are going with arrowhead break. This will give you better recoil direction giving you a better opportunity to land back to back shots. It also gives a small boost in weapon handling allowing you to swap to this weapon quickly should you need to stun a champion.
Magazine: With the magazine we are going to improve the weapons reload, stability, and give it a few extra bullets choosing Tactical Mag.. This boost in reload will synergize well with our other perks giving us the maximum reload speed possible.
Perk 1: In this slot, Rapid Hit is the go to choice. This gives a five times stacking massive boost in reload and stability by landing rapid precision hits. With proper aim, one burst and 1 additional bullet will max the stacks giving you nearly max reload and stability for the weapon.
Part 2: Lastly, One For All is a great choice here. After hitting 3 enemies you gain a sizable boost in damage for a moderate time. It can’t be refreshed while active but is easily reactivated once it runs out. Headstone is a solid option should you want a little AOE damage and stasis subclass synergy. This perk creates a stasis crystal of the location of an enemy killed with a precision shot. Destroying the crystal can cause an AOE explosion and with the right fragments can help regenerate your grenade.
Origin Trait: We are going with Hakke Breach Armaments. This will give us a little extra damage against vehicles, turrets, barricades, and stasis crystals. This is especially important if running Headstone.
Masterwork: For the masterwork, handling is the obvious pick. We are already nearly able to max our stability and reload with our perks so instead we should focus on the next lowest stat being our handling.
Mod: Minor spec in your mod slot gives you increased damage to minor enemies otherwise known as adds (additional units). This is great since we will mostly be using this to kill small enemies and occasionally stun champions.
Conclusion: Overall, this weapon and specifically pulse rifles are fantastic weapons to have in your arsenal. With a balanced perk pool and some very strong perks for PVE, the Disparity is a must-have weapon for all levels of PVE.
PVP – Disparity God Roll
The following list presents Destiny 2 Disparity God Roll traits for PvP
Slot | Perk |
Barrel | Arrowhead Break |
Magazine | Accurized Rounds |
Perk 1 | Moving Target |
Perk 2 | Desperado |
Origin Trait | Ambush |
Masterwork | Handling |
Mod | Targeting Adjuster |
Barrel: For the barrel perk, we are going with arrowhead break. This will give you better recoil direction giving you a better opportunity to land back to back shots. It also gives a small boost in weapon handling allowing you to swap to this weapon quickly should you need to swap to a close range weapon for a kill.
Magazine: The magazine choice here is Accurized Rounds. Pulse Rifles do have decently far range but hand cannons are close behind. This will extend your range past most primary weapons giving you an advantage should you find yourself in a long range duel with one.
Perk 1: We are going with Moving Target. Moving Target gives a boost in your aim assist as well as gives a speed increase while aiming down sights. Since the common method of gunfights include moving to the left and right erratically to make your enemies miss, this perk can give you the edge in any engagement.
Perk 2: The obvious choice here is Desperado. After getting a precision kill this will increase your rate of fire catching your enemies off guard and giving you a better opportunity to ensure a kill on any enemy unfortunate enough to be in your crosshairs.
Origin Trait: We are going with Ambush as the Origin Trait. This gives bonus range, handling on the first few moments of an enragement
Masterwork: Handling masterwork is a must have. This masterwork allows us to ready and aim down sights faster which could give you a small advantage in your engagements.
Mod: Targeting Adjuster is a great choice here. This gives a small boost in your aim assist making your bullets more likely to hit the target.
Conclusion: Pulse Rifles are incredibly strong in PVP due to their long range and ease of use. Disparity having a great selection of perks and good base stats really sets it apart as a serious contender for any PVP player’s main weapon.
The Disparity has great base stats and a wide perk pool full of potential options depending on content. With synergistic perks for the stasis subclass this is truly a must-have weapon for any guardian’s arsenal.
