Welcome to our Destiny 2 Forbearance and How to Get guide. The Forbearance is an arc wave frame grenade launcher launched with the release of the Vow of Disciple raid. This grenade launcher comes with some great perks and one of the strongest add clear weapons in the game. Wave frames are really strong in PVE, for their ability to take out entire hordes of enemies with one shot. In PVP, they have their usage for being able to fire at the floor towards approaching enemies then swap to another weapon for a clean up elimination.

How to Obtain Forbearance
Forbearance is obtained in the Vow of Disciple raid from the Witch Queen Expansion. Specifically it has a chance to drop from the the second, and final encounters. Once acquired for the first time, it has a chance to drop from the two hidden chest as well. Every drop has a chance to drop with Deepsight Resonance, which can be extracted to unlock the pattern for crafting the weapon. After the final encounter, Rhulk’s Glaive can be interacted with to focus the weapon with Spoils of Conquest provided the weapon has been obtained before and unlocked in collections. Once per week, the first weapon focused this way will have guaranteed Deepsight Resonance.

Barrel: For the barrel perk, we are going with Quick Launcher. This will give a boost in handling and velocity allowing us to swap to this weapon faster while our shot travel to the enemy faster.
Magazine: High-Velocity Rounds are the choice for our mag. With only two picks in this column, the obvious choice is High-Velocity rounds as it gives high boosts in desirable stats like velocity and reload speed.
Column 3 Perk: Our third column choice is Ambitious Assassin. This paired with the killing potential of the weapon will allow you to reload two rounds instead of one upon getting a single kill, increasing the lethality of the weapon.
Column 4 Perk: For our final column perk, Chain Reaction is the must have. This causes an explosion when you get a kill with the weapon increasing the already massive AOE damage of Forbearance. Guaranteeing every shot you fire with the most potential of multi-kills.
Masterwork: Our obvious choice for masterwork is Reload Speed as we want to reload our shots as quickly as possible.
Mod: For the mod, we are choosing Major Spec. A small damage boost to larger health enemies that are less likely to die to one shot of the grenade launcher.
Conclusion: Wave Frames are incredibly strong in PVE due to the ability to clear entire rooms of enemies. Forbearance is paired with one of the strongest combinations of perks to increase its AOE potential higher than any other wave frame currently available. Every guardian should go out of their way to obtain and craft one of these and it should never leave your inventory.

Mod: For the mod, we are choosing Quick Access Sling. A small boost in our swap speeds should we need to swap to a primary for a clean up elimination.
Conclusion: Wave frames can be incredibly strong in the right hands in PVP. They deal significant damage in a long AOE and very easy to use. Most pair a wave frame with a solid primary weapon to clean up any damage guardians as quickly as possible. It requires a playstyle change, but can be extremely rewarding when the skill level is reached.
