The IKELOS_SMG_V1.0.3 is a 750rpm arc aggressive frame submachine gun. This weapon has had two previous versions in the game, the original being sunset with the release of the Beyond Light DLC, and the second version released in Season 11. The third version is no less potent of a weapon with a whole new perk pool including some strong subclass synergistic perks. SMGs are community favorite weapons for both PVE and PVP due to their fast fire rates, solid add clear, and fast time to kill (TTK). This weapon like other seasonal weapons will not be regularly obtainable after the Lightfall DLC release.
How to Obtain the IKELOS_SMG_V1.0.3
In order to obtain and craft this weapon you need the season pass for Season of the Seraph, and the Witch Queen DLC. You can receive it as a drop completing Seraph seasonal activities or focus it through the seasonal kiosk in the Helm. The IKELOS_SMG_V1.0.3 is crafted upon obtaining and completing five deepsight resonance versions of the weapons. There are two upgrades you will need in your seasonal upgrade path to ensure you are farming as efficiently as possible: Ikelos Weapon Focusing, and Focusing Deepsight.

The God Roll
Barrel: For the barrel, we are going with Chambered Compensator. This barrel will give us a boost 100 recoil direction making sure our recoil is manageable. Also, it gives a large increase to our stability which the IKELOS_SMG_V1.0.3 is lacking in. It does remove a small amount of our handling but the weapon has extremely high base handling so the reduction won’t be noticeable.
Magazine: The obvious choice here is Seraph Rounds. This perk gives the weapon the characteristics of ricocheting bullets from ricochet rounds, overpenning bullets of armor piercing rounds, and flinching bullets of high caliber rounds.
Perk 1: Feeding Frenzy is the perk we are using as it gives one of the best reload buffs in the game by getting rapid kills before reloading. Since SMGs are primarily used to clear out low health enemies, this perk will be constantly helping us reload at our maximum.
Perk 2: Lastly, Voltshot is the must have choice here. It aligns with our goals of an insanely powerful enemy clearing weapon by causing chain lighting for reloading after a kill. This also has great synergy with the arc subclass making it even stronger with the right build.
Masterwork
Range masterwork allows us to give a small boost in range giving us the chance to deal more damage from further away. This allows us to play safer by being farther away while still having the same damage potential.
Mod
Minor spec in your mod slot gives you increased damage to minor enemies otherwise known as adds (additional units). Since this weapon’s primary function is add clear, minor spec gives us a little extra damage to the enemies we are trying to kill with this weapon.
Conclusion
The IKELOS_SMG_V1.0.3 is a fantastic SMG with great perks and great subclass synergy. With the perks selected you have a really balanced performing SMG with great damage and add clear potential.

Barrel: The barrel choice is Smallbore. This gives us a boost in range and a boost in stability which is one of the lowest base stats on the weapon.
Magazine: Accurized Rounds is a must have here. These rounds give a large boost in range, letting the weapon hit the same damage from further ranges.
Perk 1: While in PVP you should always be moving because of that we are going with perpetual motion. This perk gives a two times stacking increase in stability, handling, and reload just by moving. This boosts your two lowest stats, stability and reload, while not costing much to proc.
Perk 2: Rangefinder is the winner in this column. Rangefinder increases your zoom magnification when you aim down sights. Zoom is directly tied to your range and damage falloff giving you a boost in your engagement ranges.
Masterwork: Following a similar theme we are going with a range masterwork. Similar to the other perks this allows your engagement distance to be further out giving you a better chance in any gunfight.
Mod: Targeting Adjuster is a great choice here. This gives a small boost in your aim assist making your bullets more likely to hit the target.
Conclusion: The IKELOS_SMG_V1.0.3 is a great choice for a PVP SMG because of its ease of use, solid perk selection, and good range. This weapon is a must have for any PVP SMG enthusiast.
The IKELOS_SMG_V1.0.3 has great base stats giving a fantastic weapon out the gate. With its plethora of solid perks, some of which are synergistic with the arc subclass, makes it a must-have weapon for any guardian’s arsenal.
