A god roll is the best combination of perks and masterwork that a weapon can get. God rolls are often sought after as they are considered the ultimate drop of that weapon and the most effective roll used in most content. In most situations, there are two god rolls for any gun, a roll for PvE and one for PvP. The Legato-11 could be a great PvP slug shotgun with two great traits that increase its range and accuracy. It also possesses a great PvE roll for burst DPS phases provided the boss is in range with an easy-to-hit critical point.

While they have mostly fallen out of favor, pinpoint slug frame shotguns are still decent damage options against larger close-range enemies. They can do very consistent damage on a critical hit, and while they aren’t as powerful as they used to be, they are still a solid option. The Legato-11 has a pretty rough Recoil Direction Stat, so taking Arrowhead Brake is a great option to mitigate that while also adding handling. Assault Mag increases the rate of fire of the weapon, allowing more bullets to be fired in a shorter amount of time. Appended Mag can also work by adding another bullet into the magazine.
The general strategy for using slugs is to fire them out of ammo completely into a large target, then swap to another weapon for a bit, and then switch back to the shotgun. For this to work, traits like Auto-Loading Holster are a must-have, granting a free reload to the weapon while using another one. The Legato-11 also comes with the powerful Cascade Point, which lets you quickly fire several rounds at an incredible rate. Since you are going to be using another weapon paired with the weapon anyway, these two perks paired will allow the Legato-11 to put out some ridiculous burst damage.

The Legato-11 has a great PvP roll for any slug shotgun enjoyed. To get the most out of this powerful weapon, you want to increase the range as much as possible. Hammer-forged Rifling and Accurized Rounds are typical and easy choices to do this. Since the accuracy cone of weapons is effected by range, this will make getting those very necessary headshots much easier to achieve. A Range masterwork will take this bonus even further.
Since slug shotguns are powerful on their own without needing any damage-boosting traits, we want to improve their overall performance. The Legato-11 has some great traits in Columns 3 and 4 for this very thing. Lone Wolf grants some very powerful stat boosts that get even stronger if you aren’t close to any allies.
