Barrel: For the barrel perk, we are going with Fluted Barrel. This will give you a boost in stability and handling helping you be more accurate and take less flinch while also allowing you to ready and aim the weapon faster.

Magazine: Our mag choice is going to be Assault Mag. This just gives us a boost in our fire rate allowing us to fire the weapon faster.

Column 3 Perk: For third column we are choosing Repulsor Brace. This perk gives an over shield upon killing a void debuffed enemy giving strong survivability when paired with our final perk or a source of a void debuff.

Column 4 Perk:  Lastly, Destabilizing Rounds are our final perk. After killing a target this causes nearby enemies to become volatile giving great add clear potential while giving us a void debuff to proc our Repulsor Brace.

Masterwork: For the masterwork, we are going with reload. With already high handling and range, we are going to boost our reload speed to give us more time shooting and less time reloading.

Mod: Our mod choice is Major Spec. Since, this is a special weapon its helpful to boost damage to high health targets we traditionally use our special weapons for.

Conclusion: Shotguns in general have been in and out of PVE meta for years. They deal a lot of damage but require a very aggressive dangerous playstyle to be incredibly close to your enemies to dish out their damage. Nessa’s Oblation has some very fun perks to give you some survivability while giving some great add clear potential.

Barrel: For the barrel perk, we are going with Fluted Barrel. This will give you a boost in stability and handling helping you be more accurate and take less flinch while also allowing you to ready and aim the weapon faster.

Magazine: The magazine choice here is Accurized Rounds. This is the only range boosting magazine perk available on the weapon and since range is so important in PVP as it increases your fall off damage, aim assist, and accuracy. it’s important we stack into the range stat.

Column 3 Perk: Our third column perk choice is Reconstruction. This shotgun doesn’t have a lot of great PVP perks available in this column but this is passively reload your shotgun as long as you don’t fire it for a small length of time.

Column 4 Perk: The final perk is Opening Shot. A tried and true shotgun PVP perk that gives a massive boost in range and accuracy on the first shot. Since shotguns, especially slugs are intended to one shot headshot, we only need that boost for our first shot anyways.

Masterwork: Following a similar theme, we are going with Range masterwork to give our maximum potential for our one shot range.

Mod: Icarus Grip is a great choice for mod as it improves our in airborne effectiveness giving us the best chance to land our shot if we are in the air.

Conclusion: Shotguns have been meta in PVP for a while. They have incredibly strong damage, ease of use, and kill potential. Slug shotguns require a little more precision aiming to be effective in the crucible but can be incredibly strong in the right hands.
