PvE Randy’s Throwing Knife God Roll

Barrel: Randy’s Throwing Knife has a horrible recoil pattern so Arrowhead Brake is the best choice for this slot. Other options include anything that can help your range, as Rapid-Fire Frame Scouts have poor range stats.

Magazine: Increasing the reload speed with Flared Magwell is a great option here. Other options include anything that increase your magazine size, although avoid Extended Mag.

Column 3 Trait: Like most playlist weapons, there are a lot of options in the third and fourth columns, with quite a few decent options. For this roll, we went with Rapid Hit for the passive benefits that come from making headshots. Perpetual Motion and Pugilist are also decent options.

Column 4 Trait: Kinetic Tremors is a very powerful perk in PvE. If you don’t opt for that Rampage, Kill Clip, Swashbuckler, and Focused Fury are all great options as well.

Origin Trait: One Quiet Moment is a decent passive benefit, but there is no choice here.

Masterwork: Rapid-Fire Frame Scout Rifles have poor range stats for Scout Rifles, so buffing that number is always a great choice.

Mods: Minor spec helps take care of rank and file combatants and is great for scout rifles due to their lesser ammo capacity.

Conclusion: Rapid-Fire Frame Scouts are a great option in PvE, especially where range is necessary. The perks Randy’s Throwing Knife make if a great choice over others as well. A great Kinetic option to have in your kit. Its also great choice for Gambit since it works well against other players as well.

PvP Randy’s Throwing Knife God Roll

Barrel: Since Rapid-Fire Frame Scout Rifles have a poor range stat, its imperative to get that stat up as much as possible. Hammer-Forged Rifling does that with no negatives.

Magazine: Ricochet Rounds is always a great perk in PvP, since it raises both range and stability. High-Caliber rounds is also a great choice for the added flinch.

Column 3 Trait: Lots of decent options here. Perpetual Motion is always a great choice. Other decent choices to consider include Rapid Hit and Zen Moment.

Column 4 Trait: Kill Clip is just a great perk in PvP in general. It allows this weapon to kill in 4 shots rather than 5. Other options that work well are Rampage and Swashbuckler.

Origin Trait: One Quiet Moment is a decent passive benefit, but there is no choice here.

Masterwork: Rapid-Fire Frame Scout Rifles have poor range stats for Scout Rifles, so buffing that number is always a great choice.

Mods: Targeting Adjuster is just a great general mod for PvP.

Conclusion: Randy’s Throwing Knife is a powerful and fun weapon in PvP. While its TTK isn’t the best, it is very forgivable and consistent. An easy to use weapon that works at all but the closest ranges, its a powerful weapon to have in your arsenal. Its also a really great choice for Gambit since it works well against both PvE and PvP combatants.
