The Root of Nightmares is the new Raid that Bungie released after Destiny 2 Lightfall expansion. It adds the Root of Nightmares Weapons and Armor for guardians to collect. Some of those new gear pieces are standouts that you should keep an eye out for.
The guide presents the full list of the Root of Nightmares Raid: Loot Table in Destiny 2 and describes all encounters. The new activity is part of the Lightfall – so you need to own the expansion to be able to participate in the Raid.
How To Obtain Root of Nightmares Weapons and Armor?
Each weapon and gear piece listed below will drop in the Root of Nightmares Raid six-man activity. Each weapon can drop randomly from a specific encounter. So it takes a few runs before players can collect them all.
Additionally, once acquired for the first time, all weapons have a chance to drop from the two hidden chests. Also, after the final encounter, you can interact with the boss Nezerac’s Scythe and focus the weapon with Spoils of Conquest, the currency obtained from all Raids in Destiny 2. Focusing will provide you with the weapon that you obtained before and unlocked in collections. Also, once per week, the first weapon you’ll “focus” will have guaranteed Deepsight Resonance.
Each of the following weapons is craftable and drops with the Deepsight Resonance. Firstly, you must collect the specific weapons with the Deepsight Resonance (red bar around them) and extract patterns. If you get five patterns of the same weapon, you’ll get the ability to craft it. Nextly, level the crafted weapon, as a result, you’ll be able to decide the “enchanted perks” to create god rolls.
