Exclusive benefits include unique weapons, armor, and many cosmetic items for those who opt for the Season Pass. Earn rewards by leveling up your Season Pass through gameplay, completing challenges, and participating in engaging activities. Whether you choose the free track or invest in the Season Pass, each tier offers a diverse range of incentives, making your journey in Destiny 2’s Season of the Wish truly rewarding.
Season Pass Rewards in Destiny 2: Season of the Wish
Destiny 2 seasonal reward comes in two forms, one free and one purchased for additional rewards. You can purchase the season pass for extra rewards, in Season 23. To purchase the Season Pass for 1,200 Silver in-game (roughly $15.00) via the Season tab of the Director map. Then, you can start earning rewards by leveling up your season pass. It is recommended to buy the season pass before turning in any bounties for the day or week so that you can also get the XP rewards put toward your season pass. The second method is by buying the Lightfall Delux edition which gives you the year-long season pass.
Players who don’t purchase the season pass can still get the free seasonal rewards through the same methods of gaining XP, but the rewards will be different and not all season pass levels will have a free reward. Players who do purchase the pass can get both the free seasonal rewards and season pass rewards simultaneously as they gain pass ranks.

How to level up Season Pass Quickly
In Destiny 2, every activity you engage in during a season contributes to your overall XP gain, which directly translates into Season Pass progress. While you’ll naturally accumulate XP over time, there are several strategies you can employ to maximize your XP gain and reach Season Pass rank 100 more efficiently.
Harness the Power of XP Mods: Equip your Ghost with an XP Boost mod, which currently grants a 12% XP bonus. Activate this mod before embarking on any XP-generating activities to amplify your XP gains.
Capitalize on Bounties: Hold off on completing bounties until you’ve purchased the season pass. Once you have the pass, turning in bounties will trigger a substantial XP boost, significantly accelerating your progress. Prioritize bounties that offer XP++ or XP+ rewards to maximize your XP earnings.
Conquer Seasonal Challenges: Each season presents a set of challenges that offer not only unique rewards but also generous XP rewards. Embark on these challenges to reap the XP benefits and enhance your progress.
Make the Most of the Well-Rested Buff: Every weekly reset grants Guardians the Well-Rested buff, providing a 100% XP gain boost for a limited time. Utilize this buff effectively by completing the first five Season Pass ranks each week to maximize XP gains.
Leverage Season Pass XP Boosts: As you progress through the Season Pass, you’ll unlock XP boosts at ranks 5, 7, 16, 26, 36, 46, 56, 66, 76, and 86. These boosts stack with their respective type (solo or fireteam), making it easier to grind for higher ranks. Prioritize playing with a fire team whenever possible to maximize the benefits of these boosts.
