Taraxippos PvE God Roll
Barrel | Arrowhead Brake |
Magazine | Flared Magwell |
Column 3 Trait | Fourth Time’s the Charm |
Column 4 Trait | Explosive Payload |
Origin Trait | Classy Contender |
Masterwork | Reload |
Mod | Minor Spec |
Barrel: For the barrel perk, we are going with Arrowhead brake. This will give better recoil direction allowing us better opportunity to land back to back shots. It also gives a small boost in weapon handling allowing us to swap to this weapon quickly should we need to stun a champion.
Magazine: With the magazine we are going to improve the weapons reload speed and stability by choosing Flared Magwell.
Column 3 Trait: Fourth Times the Charm is the must-have perk here. This generates us two bullets every time we land four precision shots. With this perk we can effectively double your base magazine allowing us to dish out more damage before needing to reload.
Column 4 Trait: For our final column, we are going with Explosive Payload. This splits our shot into an impact damage and an explosive damage giving us a decent boost in damage and near infinite range with the explosive damage.
Masterwork: Our masterwork of choice is Reload. This will boost our reload to make sure we are able to get back to firing as soon as possible
Mod: Minor spec in our mod slot gives us a small boost in damage to red health enemies which is our primary enemy type.
Conclusion: Scouts are incredibly strong in PvE to keep you a safe distance away while dealing considerable damage. Scouts are a mainstay in end game PvE like Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes due to their rank and versality. This scout is no exception pairing some great perks with strong stats giving us a balance scout for any guardian.
Taraxippos PvP God Roll
Barrel | Arrowhead Brake |
Magazine | Flared Magwell |
Column 3 Trait | Moving Target |
Column 4 Trait | Kill Clip |
Origin Trait | Classy Contender |
Masterwork | Handling |
Mod | Targeting Adjuster |
Barrel: For the barrel perk, we are going with Arrowhead brake. This will give better recoil direction allowing us better opportunity to land back to back shots. It also gives a small boost in weapon handling allowing us to swap to this weapon to finish off a kill or swap off to a close range weapon if we are getting rushed.
Magazine: With the magazine we are going to improve the weapons reload speed and stability by choosing Flared Magwell.
Column 3 Trait: We are going with Moving Target. Moving Target gives a boost in your aim assist as well as gives a speed increase while aiming down sights. Since the common method of gunfights include moving to the left and right erratically to make your enemies miss, this perk can give you the edge in any engagement.
Column 4 Trait: Kill clip is a must have PVP perk. Scouts already have great range kill potential and paired with kill clip which gives a damage boost upon reloading after a kill makes this weapon significantly more lethal.
Masterwork: Handling masterwork is the must have to allow us to aim down sights and swap weapons faster should we need to get back to the weapon to finish off a kill or swap to a special weapon to contest an enemy.
Mod: Targeting Adjuster is a great choice here. This gives a small boost in your aim assist making your bullets more likely to hit the target.
Conclusion: Scouts have their place in PvP as a passive playstyle or on longer range maps. The Taraxippos boasting great stats and a solid lineup of PvP perks makes it a sound choice for any PvP arsenal.
