Destiny 2 Targeted Redaction God Roll and How to Get

Welcome to our Destiny 2 Targeted Redaction God Roll and How to Get Guide. The Targeted Redaction is an Aggressive Frame Void Hand Cannon that can be obtained as a drop from Activities in the Season of the Deep.

Targeted Redaction

The Target Redaction has the potential to do great in PvP. Hand Cannons hold a unique place in Destiny’s sandbox, being good at everything but not the best at anything. They are a favorite in PvP but tend to be outclassed in PvE.

Why You Should Get the Targeted Redaction Hand Cannon

You should get Targeted Redaction Hand Cannon because it can be built into to create a weapon to have a ridiculously low time to kill. • Craftable

How to get Targeted Redaction God Roll in Destiny 2

To get Targeted Redaction in Destiny 2, players will need to own Season of the Deep and complete the introductory mission. This will open up the Seasonal Playlists, both Scavenge and Deep Dives, which drop all of the Season of the Deep weapons, including Targeted Redaction. Both playlist have a chance to drop Targeted Redaction or another Deep weapon or Armor Piece. Both Scavenge and Deep Dive playlists are found on the HELM.

You can also focus the Deep Engrams that you earn at the Sonar Station found in the HELM as well if you have the Deep Weapon Focusing Upgrade. The Upgrades are found in the Seasonal Challenge Menu. Once unlocked you can focus specific weapons at the Sonar Station in the Deep Engram Decoding menu, provided you have earned them for your collections.

Barrel: Hand Cannons hurt for range, so really any barrel perk that adds to that is decent here.

Magazine: Reload speed is very important on a primary weapon that can’t get a large magazine size. While you can opt to increase it with Appended or Tactical Mag, Flared Magwell helps generally better than an extra bullet or two.

Column 3 Trait: Triple Tap to help get more rounds down range is the best option here for PvE. Well-Rounded and Envious Assassin can do alright but tend to be more niche choices. Outlaw doesn’t play well with Explosive Payload so its not a great pick here.

Column 4 Trait: Explosive Payload is a fantastic perk on Hand Cannons since the explosive damage isn’t effected by range drop off. This allows hand cannons to perform at a range they normally can’t.

Origin Trait: No choice here, but if you are using your abilities often it could be useful.

Masterwork: Again hand cannons need all the range they can get so the choice is easy.

Mods: Minor spec helps take care of rank and file combatants and is great for hand cannons due to their lesser ammo capacity. Back-Up mag is also a good choice for Aggressive Frame Hand Cannons.

Conclusion: Aggressive Frame hand cannons tend to suffer in PvE due to their slower reload speed and firing rate. They can do decent damage though, and Targeted Redaction having Explosive Payload makes it not a terrible choice. All that being said, its better as a PvP weapon.

PvP Targeted Redaction God Roll

Barrel: Bump up the range over everything. Hammer-Forged does this with no downsides.

Magazine: Accurized Rounds is another easy range boost.

Column 3 Trait: Since we aren’t using Explosive Payload here, Outlaw becomes a much better option, allowing the reload speed on this weapon to not feel absolutely abysmal.

Column 4 Trait: This weapon can potentially two tap with Collective Action and two stacks of weapons surge active. This is fairly easy to activate with Stasis Titan as well with certain aspects and mods equipped. If that build doesn’t interest you, Frenzy will be the better option.

Origin Trait: In PvP this origin trait may proc more often, but its still just a passive benefit.

Masterwork: Again hand cannons need all the range they can get so the choice is easy.

Mods: In PvP, Targeting Adjuster is an easy choice especially on hand cannons.

Conclusion: This weapons ability to two-tap makes it very desirable in PvP. While it does require certain builds to take advantage of that ability, its power cannot be denied. Worth adding to any PvP enthusiast collection.
