Why Should You Play PvP Strand Hunter?

PvP Strand Hunter fulfills everyone’s dream of becoming a super hero, allowing you to fly around with grapples cover large areas in Strand based damage. With multiple choices on playstyles and builds, there is little in terms of things you can’t do with the subclass.

ProsCons
Insane movementNo source of healing
High outplay potentialSubclass exotics are lackluster
Powerful roaming superHigh learning curve

Strand Hunter PvP Playstyle

With a wide variety of customizable and builds available, the PvP Strand Hunter playstyle itself can vary hugely. The main objectives of the subclass is to bounce around the field, dishing out damage when needed and getting back to safety preparing for your next strike.

Abilities

Some abilities, aspects and fragments need to be unlocked before use. In order to do that, Destiny 2 players need to visit Ikora in the Tower and do the related quest or purchase them from her. Lastly, if you bought new aspects and fragments don’t forget to “meditate”. Simply click the “meditate” option on the table next to Ikora.

Threaded Spike

Silkstrike – Casting this summons a knife on a rope that we can use to unleash mass amount of enemies over a large area or to a specific target, it also swaps our grenade to a grapple allowing us to move around the battlefield to engage targets or get out of trouble

Gambler's Dodge – Activating this dodge while in close proximity to enemies will give you your melee ability back. It also makes ourselves harder to hit while dodging

Strafe Jump – A higher single jump with strong directional control makes this jump a must have for PvP

Grapple – This grenade will allow us to swing forward like a super hero carrying our momentum into enemies or away to safety

Threaded Spike – This melee will bounce around targets, severing them, the return to you. Collecting it when it returns will give back melee energy depending on how many enemies were hit before it returned
