Part 1 of the DAIMA DLC Pack for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot release date has been announced, and it’s coming in July 2025.
The DAIMA DLC Pack was officially announced for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot earlier this year. All we knew about this pack was that it would be arriving in two parts and would bring the story and characters of the DAIMA anime to the game.
Now, we know the exact release date for this DLC as July 17, 2025. Here is everything we learned about the first part of the Dragon Ball Z Kakarot: DAIMA DLC.

You can jump into the first part of the DLC on July 17, 2025. This confirmation came alongside a new trailer and was also made available on various media outlets. Additionally, physical copies of the PlayStation 5 version of the DAIMA edition will be available for pre-order.
Lastly, the Nintendo Switch version of the DAIMA edition will also include “A New Story Arc: A New Power Awakens” Parts 1 and 2. However, alongside the release date we also got new details regarding the DLC to dive into.
What Will the Dragon Ball Z Kakarot: DAIMA DLC Part 1 Include?
The characters that appeared in the first part of the DLC trailer were Goku, Glorio, Shin, and Panzy. The story will likely follow their journey up until about the mid-point of the anime.
We did see a fight between Glorio and Goku as well. Additionally, you will traverse the Demon Realm in this DLC, which will surely excite the fans of the anime. You will encounter many enemies in this area, including the numerous roaming creatures. Moreover, you will also be able to eat alongside this new crew. Who doesn’t like a good feast after a long day of work?
However, do not expect the events of the latter half of the anime to be present in the first half of the DLC. Many major events, like Vegeta and Goku attaining their new transformations, happened later on. Therefore, it is unlikely that we will see them in this first part, especially when there was no indicator for the same.
